Moyes Out ( Released )
"Posted the same last year. Nothing has changed, except win don't win matches anymore. I'm fed up, we can do much better"
Re: Moyes Out
"I'll probably get accused of being Moyes's bumboy by saying this, but I keep on reading about how much money Moyes has had to spend. Well, it's all relative isn't it? In the last four years, we have been the ninth biggest spenders in the league. We are currently ninth. We finished sixth and seventh. Last season we were poor in the league but won a European trophy. If you are the owner you're not going to sack the manager are you? Another thing. Over the last ten years, we are the eighth biggest spenders in the Premier League. So the previous managers, including Allardyce, were backed just as much. And the football was still shit."

"I've just been reading that Moyes was thinking about sticking with Fabianski over Areola, even if he was fit. The bloke's an idiot."

Re: Moyes Out
"I looked at the league table yesterday morning and thought ""If we win we go sixth"". Moyes probably looked at the table and thought ""Fulham are six points behind us so we can have a day off."" I mean, why drop Emerson? And why is he still playing Paqueta out left? And why is he still playing Bowen as a striker? And why play Zouma if he wasn't fully fit? And to top it off, his comment that he would've taken two draws against Spurs and Fulham tell you all you need to know about Moyes mindset. How do the fans expect the club to progress when you have a manager that plans ahead and settles for draws. That's why Moyes will never be fully supported. He tries to sell mediocrity to the fans as something to be heralded. A shambles of a performance. And, sadly, one that we've all seen coming for a while."
Re: Moyes Out
"What Moyes does well. The bare minimum. He always seems to keep us either on the brink of being competitive with some of the top 5/6 teams (but inevitably always missing out when an opportunity presents itself) or, on the brink of being absolutely woeful and a shoe-in for relegation. He seems to do just eough to keep himself in a job. Nothing more, nothing less."

Re: Moyes Out
"moyes' main asset is that he can impose a structure rigid enough to ensure that if he has a far superior quality of player, he can usually manufacture a result that represents that. that's what got us the diet european cup, but also why he'll always fall short when pitted against his peers."

"Serious question to of you, whether you're an Inny or an Outy. What does Moyes actually do well?"
Re: Moyes Out
I used to be an away fan. My heart goes out to all the blokes and girls that went to Fulham and out sang the home fans even when losing badly. West Ham songs were noticeable on my stream through the whole game. Moyes slagged off the home fans for a lack of atmosphere but let the away fans down badly. Losing 5-0 once in a while is one thing but I think that it's entirely self inflicted by poor management.

"The thing is about the Wimbledon team, and Allardyce's team when he managed us, is that they had fuck all to spend. Moyes has managed to spend half a billion and make us worse to watch than both those teams above."

Re: Moyes Out
"side, I was no fan of that wimbledon team but we're nothing like them. they bullied and out-worked the other team, and their lack of ability was compensated by being fitter than most of the teams they faced. this scottish cսnt surrenders the initiative every game and relies on a smash and grab goal in the final ten minutes. stoke under pulis is a better comparison"

Re: Moyes Out
He's regressed us into being the Crazy Gang without even the entertainment of being crazy.....he even sticks to it being a team sport back then rather than a squad game......they (The Crazy Gang) won an F.A.Cup too.....sadly the manager of that F.A.Cup win has a West Ham connection.......ALL West Ham supporters back then despised what the crazy gang stood for in the way it played the game.....now quite a few are grateful to have it as our style of play.....
Re: Moyes Out
"stewie griffin 1:16 Mon Dec 11 Absolutely spot on. We give up possession in most games and struggle with the ball against the poorer teams. We were shocking in the first half against Spurs and despite being slightly better second half could have lost that game by 3 of 4. I didn't feel confident on Saturday but the it was Moyes getting massively exposed. Even if you believe the ""sick bug"" issue, he had fit players on the bench but once again went with his favourites. Difficult to predict what will happen with results, probably much of the same, sneak a few wins, get outplayed regularly. Hence the number of posts on this thread, results or not, he is not popular with most fans, rightly so. He's tactically outdated, has no in game management and maybe his worst trait is stubborn."

Re: Moyes Out
"I have never posted on a West Ham forum thinking that it might actually change anything at the club. The 'waste of time' thing probably covers the general discussion part of any online forum on any given subject whether it be West Ham, football in general, politics etc. If you're of that view, probably should ask yourself why you're wasting your own time posting. Apart from interactive stuff between forum members like the ticket forum or the WHO fund everything else is just an exchange of meaningless opinions on a shared interest."

Re: Moyes Out
"the worst thing about this bloke is just the absolute apathy his boring shit inspires. Massive shrug at yesterday. Truth is, it wasn't markedly different from Thursday, or from any other game we play. Spurs had 23 shots with 7 on target, and scored once Fulham had 14 shots with 8 on target and scored 5 If you cede complete control of every game you play & hand the initiative to the opposition; every now & then you're going to have a day when the opposition is clinical and smashes you. Similarly, every now & then, you'll have a day when the opposition wastes chances and you nick something. No one could have complained if we were 3-0 down at half time on Thursday either. It is what it is. Thursday wasn't a TACTICAL MASTERCLASS, and yesterday wasn't some kind of tactical failing. It's exactly the same approach, in every single game. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you don't."

Re: Moyes Out
"Has any of the football forum police on here thought it is just the perfect place to vent? You can actually choose to look in or give it a miss West Ham will ALWAYS be moaned about in fact football is the perfect place to let off some steam so to have a near anonymous place to get it off your chest has to be good no? All this requesting of it to be stopped can be solved by those wanting it to be closed just staying away from reading it""¶.."
Re: Moyes Out
"Capitol Mong 4.04 Sunday "" FOMB - yet another point flies above your head..."" ----------------------------------------- My what a pleasant posting style you have. No surprise that it's your head that the points keep flying over! You defended Moyes record and even his win percentages when all I asked you to do was justify your claim that - ""Some of the criticism is ridiculous though. They want to blame him for everything that goes wrong and give hi zero credit when it goes right."" The truth is you can't because you made it up. so you do the usual and throw abuse to make it look as though you're talking to an idiot when it's you that's the idiot. Same as when you said ""His record in the game clearly means it's not all luck."". So what trophies has he won in his 1000 games before WHU then? I'll tell you that it's none. And I see that you are shifting your opinion now to ""Few more like that and he should be out."" Isn't that a little unfair of you after defending Moyes and insulting the intelligence of others for ridiculous criticism. Oh yes I forgot. We won that day and lost this one. Knee-jerks from a septic eh? Who'd of thought it?"
