Stunning back to back holes to win by Rose to pin it back to just 1 down when it was looking a lost cause on the last hole.

That shot from Rose was insane, one of the highlights of the tournament surely?

Fuck me WOW from Rose. What an incredible shot on to the green to win the hole and get back in the match. A miracle shot.
Fitzpatrick also with a fantastic putting reply to Deshambles putt to keep him where he wants him.

What's happened to Rosie's putting? Agree on Tom Watson, always seemed a decent fella. Pity he didn't quite do it on a last hurrah a few years back and thought Michelson was a right twat when he criticised Watson's Ryder Cup Captaincy publicly that time as well. Always had a lot of respect for Nicklaus as well. Seems the perfect gent, prime example being that gimme he gave Jacklin all those years ago.

my favourite yank players : Trevino, Nicklaus, Watson (only caught the three of them at the end of their careers), Payne Stewart, Fred Couples, Ray Floyd, Crenshaw, Bubba Watson
Watson does loads for charity. I think he employs about 200 people in his home town as well.

Can't quite decide who's my player of the Tournament out of the 2 English lads Fleetwood and Fitzpatrick. Probably just go for Fitzpatrick. Both been outstanding.

I met lehman on the first hole at waterville in 2010, I was on a golf holiday I'd won with talksport and I let him and his playing partner tee off before us. a very nice pleasant bloke

I always liked Tom Watson, seemed to respect the spirit of the game as much as anyone I watched. And agree re Trevino, seemed to be permanently smiling regardless of how his game was going.

I like bryson on his youtube channel and he worked hard to rebrand himself as a non cսnt, but he showed early on in his pro career that he was prone to major meltdowns and it's good to see them return

Looks like DeChambeau could have a meltdown here. Would be glorious to watch. Making a right mess of his round so far.

Golfers were always ribbed for being @straight” and odd. conservative perhaps. Rightly so. They were. Its nice we have punk golf now but its still mainly a conservative pursuit.

Some fucking good golfers though around that time. Davis Love III, Mickleson, Fred Couples, Lehman, this latest crop of American pretenders couldn't hold a candle to those skilful ruthless lot.
