"Kudus will also move on in a season or two if he continues to improve, Liverpool? Isn't that what Tim did in Germany that you all cream over?"

"Paqueta is packing his case in preparation, selling club because they want to play for big clubs, we move on."

"Swindon and Manuel - you are of course right, any club is a selling club when the price is right, although I'm not sure we help ourselves with Moyes and the plainly unexciting football we play. How long do you give Kudus before his head is turned?"

"""We are a selling club under Sullivan so enjoy it while it lasts""ù People still getting confused by the term ""Selling club""ù If we are a selling club then so are Tottenham, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea etc. All of those clubs have sold players who they wanted to keep to bigger clubs in recent years. There are probably 5 or 6 clubs at most in World football that have the power and prestige to not have to ever sell their best players unless they want to. Occasionally selling your best players is not always a bad thing if it means you can strengthen other areas while balancing the books at the same time. We managed to tie down Bowen for the next 6 years so it's wrong to suggest we don't try to keep our best players. As far as Paqueta goes he has a clause that allows him to leave next summer if a club bids 85 million. Nothing we can do about that other than try to offer him an improved deal but if the likes of Man City and Pep come in for you then it's hard to say no."

"Isn't that the point? We bring in players, they play well and we sell for a profit. Then we start again. When Paqueta goes to city for ¬£85m we're not spending ¬£85m on his replacement. Also, how exactly is Sullivan going to ""òpocket the change'?"

He's here to the end of the season. Whether we like it or not . I won't renew my season ticket next season. If Sullivan is still running things . He has no ambition for the club whatsoever . And I have a horrible feeling steitden is only here to bring in cheaper replacements for the likes of rice and pacqueta . Just so the potless dwarf can pocket the change .

"Yea a real blessing that our only recognised striker is now out when we have 2 games a week until January and then probably won't sign a striker anyway. Yea, what a blessing."

Antonio done his hamstring playing for Jamaica So long as Steidten recruits a striker it might be a blessing in disguise because Moyes and Sullivan don't have the greatest track record ( cough !!). in the recruitment for that position. Would it force Moyes to bring one of the youngsters in or perhaps try Cornet for more than 5 mins ? Would it fvck ü•¥

"nychammer 3:49 Sat Nov 18 It was Sullivan that brought in Paqueta, no? You can't have it both ways, and pretty much every club is a ''selling club'', Man Utd sold Ronaldo, right? Also, Paqueta has the 85 mil buyout clause. A fucking pathetic, child like post, grow up a bit."

there's going to be stupid offers for Paqueta next summer and when pusg comes to shove we are a selling club under Sullivan so enjoy it whilst it lasts.

He's very frustrating but as long as I can see paqueta play every week I don't care. The man is a joke and the best player we have had for decades. He takes the piss

"El if we get knocked out of the League Cup, lose these ""easier""ù games""ù coming up and hovering above the bottom 3 it might make him think of pulling the trigger. Steiden will already have a list of suitable managers lined up. I don't think Sullivan would have him working in a vacuum, he's too much of a control freak for that. Sullivan must be fully aware of his alternative managers and for a few months wages he's not going to let Moyse waste more money on an Ing's type signing in January if we're in the shit again. That's my thinking but we all know Sullivan is penny wise and pound foolish"

"Moyes won't be going anywhere this season, I'm sure. Only thing to change that I am sure would be an ignominious exit from Europe in the group stages but that's not happening. An absolute hammering in the first knock out stage may be the only other thing. As per last season even if we're in the relegation zone and deep trouble it's clear Sullivan won't pull the trigger until we are mathematically down. We're doing well enough points wise as things stand to not really get dragged down into it anyway. So we might as well just accept he's here until the end of the season unless something crazy happens in Europe."
