He did some great covers. Much missed. Not the worlds greatest singer but hit that spot between gentle and sarcastic.

thank you for posting that link.
as you said that is really out there.
it is an excellent song and as cgi was very primitive in 1975, I assume that Roger Daltry really was walking on those rocks barefoot, although I suspect in the long shot it was a stuntman.
he was such a terrific singer and of course Moon was an amazing drummer.

You're welcome. I think I read that daltrey did climb the waterfall, it's in the Lake District. The whole film is completely bonkers but watchable and of course great soundtrack. jazz, funk, soul are my thing but I appreciate all music, wherever the mood takes me. So I'm not into Prog that much but I'm glad you are still finding some interest in it today.

I can see where you’re coming from, especially in the mainstream,  but I’d say there are loads of great progressive rock albums being made these days.  I subscribe to PROG magazine (you’re probably not too surprised to hear) and every month it inspires me to check out about 6 or 7 new albums through its articles and reviews.   And the latest Hawkwind album is excellent

I don't want to knock young people's music (like the way my dad rubbished my music)  but this was just so fucking out there. Where is the creativity now?  It all looks so bland

Paul Young.  Secret of Association

Bit patchy and nowhere as good as the excellent No Parlez but worth having as there are some great tracks on it.

I was in a band that supported them in the 80s before they made it.
They were superbly prog at that point.
