Re: Paqueta
"The best thing about Paqueta is he is all skill, technique and creativity. He’s everything the dead part of English football is not and course he has done everything possible to prevent Moyes getting another contract; now that’s been sorted, I look forward to a return to last season’s form."

Re: Paqueta
I’d offer him the captaincy and build the team around him if he takes on the challenge.

"Yep he was luckily for us.....but as the media do, prematch he was one of the players we had to stop apparently......"

Re: Paqueta
"Lato 4:58 Wed May 8 He played in both games, came on at halftime for the away game....... .......Manny.....that away game was one of the few hi-lights of Moyes's reign :-).....Paqueta was supposedly their danger man, we got him and Emerson the following transfer window......it's thankfully not like the Paul Hilton signing though."

"Scorch agree on that seeing is believing, there's a few accounts that have been spinning that line for a while on Twitter but there's been nothing, not even a hint in the financial media."

Re: Paqueta
Not buying it. If Sullivan is selling up then why was he so involved (allegedly) in the new manager appointment and why was it done immediately before a new owner or majority shareholder comes in?

"Side of Ham 4:43 Wed May 8 Manuel 5:59 Tue May 7 Didn't he play against us TWICE for Lyon in the Europa League?'' I have absolutely no idea, but suspect he did since you posed the question."

Re: Paqueta
I suspect he will still be here next season. Like others have said . He's more pissed off with the style of football than the club. His wife loves London as well as the kids .

Re: Paqueta
"Agree with Barty and scott_d. He’s a really good player and hopefully was just sick to the back teeth of trying to play in a Moyes team with no joy at all. I’d really like to see how he goes under Lop and I wonder if this move was made to send a reassuring message to him, Kudus, Alvarez and Bowen that things will be different and better. But if he wants out regardless then he will get his way, one way or another. Someone has to stump up the cash though."
