NFL (since 2016)
"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

"Not over till it's over, but I certainly wasnt disappointed when we didnt get cousins. Fancied us to stop Cook, but didnt think we'd do it this well. Bosa has been fucking superb for a rookie."

"That feels like a will breaking touchdown drive, not a single pass. Vikings dont respond immediately and its game over"

Re: NFL (since 2016)
"Thielen just got a cut on his lower leg during training, nothing that wills top him playing, will just have to play through any uncomfort. Diggs has been ill most of this week so may not be at 100% either, whereas the Niners seem to be getting healthy at the right time with Dee Ford and Kwon Alexander both likely to be back for the defence. Cousins is going to have to play very very well again and Cook will need another big game, the 49ers have been susceptible to the run all season, think they gave up over 100 yards in a large number of their games which is strange when they were blowing alot of teams out."
Re: NFL (since 2016)
You may keep Thielen or Diggs down but then you have still got Cook to worry about

"A niggle won't keep a good player out of the play-off games. I've seen blokes try to take to field with fractured legs during play-offs. They are generally a tough lot, even with the padding. Your best hope is that he won't play as many downs. Reckon your lot will win that, anyway, Grumps."
Re: NFL (since 2016)
"Don't think the Titans or Texans have a hope in hels chance of upsetting either, but stranger things have happened. And neither the Seahawks or Packers seem to have many weapons, so that one could be a war of attrition. If we bring our A game then we beat the Vikes, but definitely no pushover. I'm just hoping their best player (Theilen for me) is fucked, as he's got a niggle."

"I do like the Titans though and would like to see them really make a run, as i think they could go all the way if they can find a way passed the Ravens. Also Mike Vrabel said he's cut his dick off for a superbowl win so interesting to see what happens there"

"Hard to argue with those picks Nuts going with the higher seed and they should all win on paper, just have a sneaky feeling there will be at least one upset. Just hope its in the NFC because i really want to see Mahomes vs Jackson for a place int he superbowl."

Re: NFL (since 2016)
"SB, it's a combination of luck/timing & joe gibbs. I'm not sure anyone expected rivera to be fired during the season but as soon as it happened, snyder consulted gibbs (who is based in charlotte) about ron & the wheels were set in motion. the fire bruce allen campaign was brutal but deserved but I honestly thought he'd carry on in the role forever. like brady, shit just bounced off him/her, but it appears joe gibbs finally got through to snyder that things needed to change. the question now is who will be the QB1. haskins, smith or a draft pick?"

Re: NFL (since 2016)
TM - decent set of coaches you've got now. That looks like a proper backroom set-up. WTF has happened to Snyder?
