Re: Moyes Out
"Might also be a case of how we lose to City and Liverpool. After that we have Sheff Utd at home, win that and it will be 13 points from 21 which would very likely see you top 6."
Re: Moyes Out
"Funny how many people that were complaining about the shit football have suddenly become rabid Moyes IN dickheads. Almost like some of you don't have a thought in your fucking thick heads. The football is still dire, I'd still sack him tomorrow. A couple of wins doesn't change that. I look forward to welcoming most of you back into the Moyes OUT fold after the City and Liverpool games."

Re: Moyes Out
I think this will be his last season with us. TS has plans for the club to switch direction but I think they felt Moyes was owed. So I'll continue to support him until the end.
Re: Moyes Out
"I wanted him out last season for is selections and tactics. Still not a lover of his tactics but am hopeful the new signings will see him at least try to improve our ability to get and keep the ball. Evolve our play in Other words. The reality is, he will get away with 20% possession while we continue to win most games against the rich teams. Against Luton and now having Alvarez and JWP, Paqueta and Kudus coming in, we will hopefully evolve. A pivotal point ? Will Moyes start Soucek for every game and prefer less possession again against teams like Luton or was Friday night a sign of that word ""evolution""ù ? We don't expect or necessarily want possession for possession sake like a lot of teams do but would like to see us outplaying more teams and getting in the ball a little more even against the rich clubs is all. its more entertaining rather than ""backs to the wall""ù every week. In summary, I'm hoping we see Moyes changing the tactic a bit now he has better options in midfield. If he does that and we continue to get results then I might see a longer term future for him at the helm but it's early days. Things can turn to shite quickly in football. Review in 2-3 months"

Re: Moyes Out
As I said earlier... Results and style are the criteria...and no early judgements yet ... OK so far...
Re: Moyes Out
"I don't mind those tactics against good sides (not City that's suicide) although against Chelsea we rode our luck as we fell too far back and yesterday looked much better balanced when Benni came on. What will piss me off again is if he plays the same way against Luton, Sheffield, Nottingham Forest, etc. Where we should be totally on the front foot."

Re: Moyes Out
"I think it's fine how we've treated Moyes up this season: he has signed players he wants/who play his way using the Rice money (with advice from his technical director, which is how it is supposed to work) - so he can have no complaints if he now fails. As things stand, he's doing fine. Surely we can't complain about that? He's been given enough rope to hang himself. So if he fails, he's out. If he thrives, we get to ""enjoy"" the wins like yesterday..."

Re: Moyes Out
"Not so, Muskie: while Maguire and McTominay were Moyes' first choices, it's rare that any manager (with the exception of Pep with his money) gets all of their first choices. Juts because Alvarez and Mavrapanos were not top of his list doesn't mean he did not want them when others were not available. From what I understand, he did. I'm not a fan of Moyes, but we can't keep pretending that he is consistently fluking his way through #6, #7 Premier League finishes and a Europa Conference League trophy. He has a type of player he likes. We've signed those players. Hence, we have very little possession, but Moyes-style victories. Ward-Prowse is as Moyesball a player as you can sign."
Re: Moyes Out
"I still want Moyes out. Couldn't care less about posession....but hate seeing us so deep, passive and submissive where the ball is concerned. That's the total personification of Moyes inferiority complex. I actually like us playing direct, fast paced football going forward, just wish we'd love our resolute line up to the half way line and squeeze the play more with some more aggressive intent instead of camping around our own penalty box and setting up for a siege."
Re: Moyes Out
"Players Moyes demanded? They were actually Maguire and McTominay, he actually got Alvarez and Mavropanos, thank god. I suspect he's not too happy about it."

Re: Moyes Out
"We're flying under the full-throttle Moyesball that the manager fought hard for over the summer. Whether we like it or not, this is what Moyes demanded in terms of players etc - and it is working for him. It will end, of course. But even though I'm no fan of Moyes, it feels great to be top of the league. Full-throttle Moyesball was always going to be grounded on 20% possession, Antonio's relentless pressing as the lone striker, scarce moments of magic from Paqueta, Bowen and Benny and the need for everybody to lay their bodies on the line for 100 minutes per game."

Re: Moyes Out
"""what utter shit. relying on the goalkeeper having 10/10 performances every week isn't sustainable"" -------------------------------------- Seems to work with us taking 6th, 7th, a semi-final and a final win though. Obviously that is sustainable... Having said that I'd also like a better Chairman and Manager. Funny though that the two shit ones we have seem to be doing OK at the moment..."

Re: Moyes Out
"The question that needs to be asked is why so few supporters expect to get the results we have got? Even those that do predict it do it in hope and not expectancy and brush off defeats like it's normal for us and use terms like ""òmove on'. When a club increases it's attendance by nearly half again to 60,000+ crowds you expect more from your teams attitude and in the way we play no? Like other clubs who can maintain easily this level of support? Why are those now expecting some stylish football being played mocked by those who are willing to win at any cost even if that cost means playing like Dave Basset is in charge of the team""¶.I don't get where you are being a decent supporter""¶.you are encouraging a type of football that was despised even then""¶"
