Perfect opportunity to bow out a winner. It doesn't often happen. Celtic job will probably be his if he wants it.

I have to agree. The football has been ugly but it would be harsh to sack a guy who has won something. Everyone mates mistakes and worth giving him another year to see if he has learnt from it.

"Moyes has told us a couple of times that he tried to improve the football but it didn't work out, and he went back to what he knew. I think he's earned the right tonight to have another go"

"Not sure we get to blame him when we lose and not give him ay credit if we win the cup. I think he'll walk away whatever the outcome, but if he wins the trophy then he's probably earned another chance for half a season."

"Frankly I don't care how hurtful it was for Moyes re the banner and the fans reaction. If he'd changed his stubborn arrogant attitude & his demeanour toward us, the fans, then he might have got us on his side. He's had his chance and fucked it up. He's not good enough and far too stubborn for his own good. 8 months to get the best out of Paqueta? Fuck off do. He spent 200m and lost more games than he drew and won put together. Thats fucking crap under any circumstances. He's trying to win us over via the newspaper article so he can go to Sullivan and say he's now got the fans back. He's a politician - soundbites, bullshit and never listens to anybody with a huge ego. If we win tomorrow it will be because of the players desire, fuck all to do with his motivation. Attack the opposition Moyes, don't sit back gutlessly and shit yourself for 80 mins. This is the final, not a fucking league game. Your'e the manager of West Ham United and we are a proud club. Fucking act like it man & set up the side to win this trophy."

"""I see things that I would like to change, to do things slightly differently "" """"When I saw that banner it was hurtful because it drains your power and strength to do things. When people continually question you though, it drains you. I've got to say it wasn't a good time. Did I feel lonely? Hugely. ""There are a lot of things I would like to do at this club and in my head I have a vision at the way we can continue to grow.""ù"" I'd really love to have some of what he's smoking! The ability to live in an alternate reality is amazing. Just like his podcast. You would never think we dropped into the bottom 3 after spending 200m... Do things ""slightly"" differently ... are you having a laugh??"

"Bizarrely, it looks like Postecoglu has a four-year contract with a two-year review/break clause. I'm not sure who that favours. Those things generally don't stand up to much legal scrutiny in tribunals. Dunno about football, though. Gut feeling is that it will all be irrelevant if Spurs are not a top six side and the fans want him, and Levy, out. Let's see..."

"It's irrelevant who Spurs appoint, their future position is more dependant on Kane staying or not. I look forward to the day he leaves them, you'll find their days of getting into the Champions league will be long gone when he's not carrying them."

Rodgers being linked with a return north. I don't suppose we will know if Moyes interests them until later this week.

"southbankbornnbred 3:12 Tue Jun 6 A) absolutely bollocks, you know full well he's not getting that job based solely on just winning the Scottish League. Fuck me, do you get paid to write shit like that? B) You have no idea who's turned them down, and exactly what the reasons were if they did. You've named one manager, maybe he did, maybe his club weren't letting him go, but let's have it right, if Slot could have he would've taken the Spurs job. I've no idea if he'll be a success, doesn't seem anyone at the moment can do well there. But he seems like a very impressive fella, so sadly, I reckon he will do well."

Alfs 5:13 Tue Jun 6 Re: Moyes Out More of a Christian Gross ring abut this one. Having said that an Aussie spurs fan I work with was quite keen on his appointment. It's always a bit of a roll of the dice whether there's a track-record or not. Most managers fail and get booted out sooner or later.

There was another unknown manager that did well in Japan. Arsene Wenger. His appointment was cunted off but he didn't do too badly. I dearly hope he fails spectaturly though.
