What is interesting to me is how an anti immigration party got so much of the young vote for them.That would be impossible here partly because of demographics and who makes up the under 25s and also because their schools and media have relentlessly informed them that all immigration is good and any limits on it are evil and fascist.

Mashed. agree entirely with your sentiments but it is the leaderships of great western powers that have ushered in and nurtured the post-truth era. Wokeism exists and flourishes because society is at the same time in thrall and in fear of social media. And it suits our leaders to perpetuate that sorry state of affairs. Why else would they preside so impotently over its emergence?
