Moyes got hired just after he returned from injury, so you'd have expected things to improve pretty quickly, but they didn't. As it was, with all those things in his favour he still only managed one point more than Pellegrini had in the same number of games. So no, I don't think he saved us at all. Nor did he in 17/18 when he took over with 27 games to go and we weren't even in the bottom 3."
