Re: Moyes Out
"If Moyes does stay then we can say goodbye to most of our good attacking flair players. It will be another shit season and another battling relegation whilst we all dance to the tune of this absolute fraud. Anothrr season of blaming the fans, running the team into the ground and away games at the top 6 being an exercise in not getting over the halfway line. Fantastic outlook yet again from Sullivan and Brady."

Re: Moyes Out
Whether we win the conference league or not . I suspect there will be a parting of the ways afterwards. As the club clearly don't trust him in the transfer market judging by recent comments that are coming out the club .

Re: Moyes Out
Both Fergie and Wenger had Carte Blanche at their club. Sullivan doesn't even want the tea lady to have control of kettle. Let alone a manager run a football team.! Moyes is gone. But while Diddy Dave is calling the shots. We are only going to get Yes Men.

Re: Moyes Out
"Branded, you certainly points to a lot of different camps. I couldn't give a shit what camp you would out me in. My view is still the same. West Ham is a Massive club with massive resources and plenty of good players. I wish us to play attractive and positive football, but haven't much of that under Moyes. Moyes to me is anti football, anti entertainment and just plain boring. We could and should do much better, and I don't give credit to Moyes for being in a semi final in a backyard Europe cup. We can have a fresh start when he has fucked off."

"the exile 10:55 Sat May 13 in the last week it's rumoured (via one of his propaganda outlets) he's getting rid of rob newman at season end. mainly to shift the blame away from the manager, even though newman did his job finding good players. that tells me he's about to retain full control of buying/selling, and the anti football cսnt will carry on as manager"

Re: Moyes Out
He needs to go... He's out of date...tactically naive and outdated... He's a very poor man manager and will not progress the squad... Also has no idea of selecting creative and attacking players... Dithers and procrastinates Championship level manager at best... Club will remain in turgid mode if he stays... Pay him off...say goodbye...
Re: Moyes Out
"Honestly think we won the semi in spite of Moyes not because of him. All that sitting back when they had the ball was embarrassing, we weren't playing Real Madrid or Man City. IMO and I accept I don't know as much about tactics as a premier league manager but surely we could of blown them away with some intensity. Would have massively got/kept the ground rocking as well which would have pushed the players up another notch as well. Also if you spend 170 million and go from 7th to near relegation you cant use 'taking time to bed in' as an excuse. Because if thats true it just means you've spent badly then"

Re: Moyes Out
"Consistently good managers, your Fergies and Wengers are few and far between. Some managers just click with a team and have their day in the sun before losing their shine. I think Rodgers gets his pedigree form nearly winning the league with Liverpool but look what he did with Leicester. Similarly Ranieri won the league with Leicester and went on to do very little of note after they sacked him the following season. Bilic and Moyes had similar experiences on a far lesser scale with us. Good seasons followed by disastrous ones. If Moyes could get that team to play like they did against Man Utd every week then he'd be a shoo in. I think, especially if we win in Europe he will be starting next season, and probably rightly so, because I don't see anyone else coming to us that is available, willing to come, simply good enough and not a massive gamble. I would worry, especially with Sullivan at the helm, who any replacement would likely be."

Re: Moyes Out
"Does anyone know if there is any chance of Sullivan selling up and fucking off this summer? It's all gone very quiet on that front, but obviously it would make a big difference to whether or not Moyes goes and if so, who replaces him."

Re: Moyes Out
"At the end of the Newcastle game which I stayed to the end I passed kid sitting glum in his seat with his mum by his side. It was late. I just had to say "" well done for you for staying, a better man than most""ù. That kid doesnt need to know about tactics and money he just has to feel the hurt in his belly and know a better day will come which came quickly with the joy of the Man I and AZ games. I feel the emotions from watching streams and the TV but I hate watching football on TV. It has none of the raw emotion and interactions with both strangers and friends. So, I understand your desire to see good football but its not hard to get that on TV, I'm interested in the emotions of being present in the drama and feeling elation or pain amongst others."

Re: Moyes Out
"I think respect and gratitude and judging emotional attachment are two slightly different thing. I have massive respect and gratitude for the people that keep supporting the club for generations, with physical presence and ticket sales. That said I feel pretty emotionally attached to the club. It is was one of the only links to my nan who died of lung cancer when I was a kid. I had to work to follow anything of the club in the years after that - pre internet. If I tried to tell my friends about it, it was often a ""sissy"" sport for ""ballerina divers"" to them. Easiest thing would have be to stick to the other sports I followed or pick an Italian team I could follow more easily even. Or a more successful team, as I had not friends or family that were alive or on the same continent, that were West Ham. I went as much I could when I was in England living a half day trip away. And now I watch way to much football - full stop. I can trade football knowledge half decently at this point and I am grateful to WHO for parts of that."

Re: Moyes Out
"When you look at the talent in that Leicester squad, it just gets more and more baffling how some have such a hard on for Rodgers. As said previously, I wouldn't necessarily be against it, but that's a huge red flag. As much as I want him gone, at least Moyes can point to Europe."

Re: Moyes Out
The paper talk is that PSG are looking at Mourinho. Can see that suiting his ego and imagine he'd stay at Roma if it doesnt happen. Think the likes of Potter & Rodgers are realistic for us but suspect Tottenham might go for Rodgers

Re: Moyes Out
"What I think NB's point is, without wanting to talk for him, is if you take someone like feet, who has never been to a West Ham game in his entire life, he's not really in a position to tell people who spend a fair whack every season to watch the team live what they should be happy with. Also someone like Manuel, who is obviously fine with the team serving up shit every week whilst watching us in a beach bar, it's no big one. He'd no doubt feel different if he'd paid to stand with the rest of us in the freezing cold watching us get turned over with a whimper."
Re: Moyes Out
"i also cannot go due to where i live but i dearly wish I could go and make my voice heard. I was there during the 'Brown Out' season. That's why i sound off on here, its all I got really. re: Mourinho - similar to and an upgrade on Moyes for sure. We HAVE defended ok for the most part but its the transition to attack that has been woeful and I think he would get that side of our game sorted."

Re: Moyes Out
I can see where North Bank is coming from... the people with the vested interest and the people that can make a difference are the people that make the effort to go H & A... their voices can be heard... by the board... by the manager... wherever the rest of us just moan al lot on here... which basically means fuck all... its just a platform to sound off... and yeah I include myself in that.... and it's mainly why I don't have that much of a opinion re Managers now ... as I have learnt it's fucking pointless moaning ... AS NO ONE FUCKING LISTENS APART FROM ALL THE OTHER MOANING CUNTS ON HERE.... Easy when you take a step back...

Re: Moyes Out
"BRANDED 7:40 Fri May 12 Re: Moyes Out North Bank 100% Many years ago I was dragged along to a Simply Red concert. I found their music pleasant but not really a and I wanted to see. The only curiosity I had was the way in which they performed their music. In other words, how they developed and interpreted the recorded work in a live setting. They performed the music exactly as it sounded on the CD. There really was no difference which seemed to be enough for the fans present but I found astounding as it offered nothing extra to the CD experience except the visual and the day out aspect of going to a concert. It is funny how different people want to be entertained. You went to see a Simply Red concert.... that's as gay as Eerie Descent in a Millwall dress...."
