It is was one of the only links to my nan who died of lung cancer when I was a kid. I had to work to follow anything of the club in the years after that - pre internet. If I tried to tell my friends about it, it was often a ""sissy"" sport for ""ballerina divers"" to them. The only curiosity I had was the way in which they performed their music. In other words, how they developed and interpreted the recorded work in a live setting. They performed the music exactly as it sounded on the CD. There really was no difference which seemed to be enough for the fans present but I found astounding as it offered nothing extra to the CD experience except the visual and the day out aspect of going to a concert. It is funny how different people want to be entertained. You went to see a Simply Red concert.... that's as gay as Eerie Descent in a Millwall dress...."
