"To be as honest as I can be I’d say our 3rd goal came from a period where we was sitting back, and the 2 goals we conceded came from sitting back as well Our other 3 goals came from the periods where we went for it and pressed Brentford in their own half Attack and press periods we won 3-0 Sit back and soak up the pressure period we lost 1-2 Its obvious how we have to play But only one bloke can make it happen"

"Will enjoy the win, bit nervy at times even though the scoreline wouldn’t suggest that, will give Moyes some breathing space but think his number is up come the end of the season. Seems a few are a bit gutted by the result fuck me some of our so called fans are tragic at times. LOL"

"Odd sort of game that. Started like a train and we saw 20min of what this team can be like. Conceded and then reverted to type of sitting deep. Good to see Bowen, Kudus and Paqueta back together."

It’s always nice to turn over a bogey team. Regardless of who’s on the touch line. Moyes is gone. We just have to wait until May.

Imagine ‘fans’ wanting their team to lose rather than enjoy a decent home performance. You can be unhappy with your team but to the point you want them losing is as unsporting as you can get. Football ain’t for you.

"A few great goals, some great skill, some good defending, some crap defending, some good battling and bloody nervy at 4-2 up. That's the West Ham Way."

"That game shows what’s been painfully obvious for 2 years now We started on the front foot, putting pressure on Brentford in their own half, which is something we never do and low and behold we go 2-0 up Then we reverted to type and sat back, 2-1 Then we got going again, 4-1 Then we once again went back to Moyes’s preferred tactic and it’s 4-2 So not only does pressurising and going for it yield goals for us, but it’s also our best form of defence Now if we played like that for 90 mins every game no matter who were playing against I think Moyes would win people over and no one would have an issue with him even if it caused us to lose games But I just can’t see him doing it"

"Fair play, a much better performance, especially going forward. Played some good football but still looking brittle at the back. Who knows whether we can keep this up? I still want Moyes out."

On train back smiling which makes a nice change. Paqueta makes all the difference. We have good players and can play good football. A better manager will make us an even better team. Simple really

Nervy last 15 and understandably ... apart from that excellent performance and 4 super goals... thought the Bubble was superb... kept Ivan the Terrible as quiet as a mouse... and Paq man absolute class... well done JB ... Dani Dyer getting a good seeing to tonight... well done lads and well done the boss.

Bittersweet victory - many of us want to see the boys win their games BUT we want rid of Moyes as well... Thought Kudus ran out of steam last 15 minutes; not doubting his contribution prior to that. Disappointing to see us fall back onto Moyesball for the last twenty five minutes or so... and we really have to work at clearing the ball to our own players.

"Yorkammer You know we need Moyes out... and this result doesn't really change things he's proved here that he can with these players llay a brand of football that the fans want and can produce results, but he chooses not to. If the rumours about the contract are true he wont sign it anyway."

Such a shame to see a match panning out in this matter just bec6of a cսnt manager. Empty seats after 4-2 win isn't right.

Relief! Much needed win. Plus Bowen is the first West Ham player to score a hat trick at the stadium.

"We score 4 - should be strutting, but as usual hand the initiative back and hanging on at the end . An unnecessary negative."
