"I have more respect for the Villa chairman who got a new manager in back in November, when they were above us. They had one more point than us at the time and now have 17 more and could well finish top 6, and I doubt anyone thinks that they have a much better squad than ours."

Moyes on the way to making a lot of people eat their own words. Moving up the league towards a respectable mid table finish and a European trophy.

What I won't take is a tepid whimper or a complete no show of a performance like against Frankfurt IF IT ENDS IN A LOSS .

"At this point in the ECL, I don't really give a fuck if we play champagne football at all or grind out three dull fucking 1-0 wins. It's about winning the trophy. Yes it would be more palatable to play everyone off the park and win as well because we are the best and most talented team left in it, but whatever it takes. As it happens we have a better chance by playing positive football as has been seen, but I'll take whatever as long as it comes with a trophy. What I won't take is a tepid whimper or a complete no show of a performance like against Frankfurt."

"Goose Indeed Incidentally, I'm not sure either of us wind each other up do we? We disagree on a lot and quite often argue, but that isn't the same thing at all. Only SoH can keep a vendetta going so tenaciously."
