"On Paramount+ I think I stumbled onto an old 90's favourite that I hadn't remembered. If you like old 90's serial killer thrillers Jennifer 8 is worth a watch albeit dated a tad. Andy Garcia, Lance Henriksen and the lovely Uma Thurman star. Tempted now to go and dig out Jeff Bridges in Jagged Edge!"

"Probably a year late on this one, caught The Stranger (2022) at the weekend, Joel Edgerton and Sean Harris. Went into it blind without knowing about the plot or the Aussie historical context or controversy - impressive film."

Tetris is well worth a watch. Didn't realise it was a Soviet / Russian programmer who invented the game in the '80s and Robert Maxwell's involvement. Top film. The story how we all got to play Tetris.

RBshorty 10:02 Fri May 12 Re: 2020 Movies (now including 2021 and 2022) Air. A film about a shoe company and a basketball player. It really shouldn’t work. But it does. A good script. And cracking cast. However it’s Affleck the storyteller that stands out. He’s film’s may not be everyone’s cuppa. But they are always engaging. And that’s almost unheard of in today’s La La Land. Watched this last night and agree with RBS... no way should the film work but it's brilliant... reminds me a bit of the Big Short (which I love)
