Come on side of Ham you are better that mate. J ust because some fans wernt born within a free kick from Upton Park like some of us. they can't have valid opinion.

"Willwall, another who wants to play the victim""¶..where have I said he's not welcome? He's the one trying to dig out our club's past for wanting to play a bit football dare I say with attacking intent""¶."

What does it matter where a WH fan lives or was born? Surely it's enough to be a WH fan and all are welcome? Doubly ironic when Snide believes you are only a proper fan when born to it but doesn't go himself in spite of living near the ground.

"Swindon, would you rather us play attacking football and win the tie 4-3 on aggregate, or play defensive football, scrape a 0-0 draw at home and then go on to lose 1-0 away, crashing out with a whimper? I'll never get these 'win playing negative or lose playing expansive' debates. I'm not aware of any rule or law that says winning and playing attacking football are mutually exclusive!"

"Swindon I've had enough of your questions from some bolt hole in the West Country, and answered them and even given examples to help you""¶.you just want to corner me into something you make into you being right""¶.you're not""¶.my history of West Ham precedes me going because I was brought up on good information about the club and it's support""¶""¶all you want to do is belittle that""¶.that happens when you pick a club far away from your locality by choosing your favourite colour combination""¶.you don't get a proper insight""¶""¶you should at the very least respect that and be glad I did listen""¶.traditions are passed on""¶.I know what's being passed on my end""¶.what are you passing on?"

"You notice when Side uses examples of the way West Ham should be playing football it's always referring to 30 or 40 years ago. So Side, would you rather we played entertaining attacking football against Alkmaar and lose 4-3 over the two legs or win 1-0 at home and scrape a 0-0 away with a very defensive performance? A simple question so which would you prefer?"

"Nope, no one has mentioned them teams or expected that at all its just plain stupid by you to suggest that""¶just because you got a half reasonable response to your silly question""¶.Dynamo Tblisi at home is the sort of point I am making about how our support appreciated what football should be about""¶.it's not anywhere near wanting the team to lose but more about wanting football to win if you do lose so your team should have this as their first aim where possible""¶..I'd gladly except half a dozen games of backs to the wall shit, but over a year and then it wins us a cup""¶..it's not possible""¶.at some point the players are going to have to step up and ignore Moyes and it looks like that is the case now""¶."

Snide 4.21 ...so you don't want us to win the semi unless we play like City/Brazil? As l said earlier we really do have some weirdo fans!

"Now you are slightly changing the point you was making rumford""¶.all that is being asked is that the team plays a bit of football and has attacking intent which it has recently after going a goal or two down""¶.effectively ditching Moyes's tactics""¶.we had a way of playing that made us known to be a concern to the big teams if our game was in their end of season run in wherever we was in the table""¶..we could play a little even in relegation seasons""¶..minus the Avram season and a couple more :-)""¶.now we've effectively watched the opposition play some football for over a year""¶last couple of games the players have stood up for one half until Moyes makes his negative subs""¶.can't see that Moyes had much to do with it""¶..except to try and shut up shop""¶."

"twoleftfeet, the only thing you like to attack is those supporters who want a better standard of football to represent their club""¶.the only hope we used to have was the fact at times we could turn up and beat one of the top teams""¶.it's clear the players want this too seeing as they've ditched the shit tactics after going a goal or two behind""¶."

Give it a rest Swindon for fuck sake . Some of you anti anti Moyes types are so vindictive. It's sad that you can't enjoy the performance and result without feeling a need to bait another fan .

"Side of ham is typical of many posters on here, they disappear when we get a good result but return when we don't. They claim to be fans but I'm not sure they are, why would anyone want their own side to lose? I hated Allardyce with a passion but I never wanted us to lose matches."

Snide answer the question Do you want West Ham to win the semi final even if its a boring 1 - 0 win after first leg 0 -0 bore draw? I'll take anything after 43 year wait!

"""we""ù is often a word used when you refer to a club that you support Side. ""Support""ù is a term that is used when you want your team to win and are loyal to them. Not wanting them to lose. So you are taking a ""wait and see""ù approach with regards to the semi final then. Waiting to see who will play the best football before deciding who you want to win. üòÇ"

"I think you have to be playing reasonably well to play entertaining football anyway. And if you're playing reasonably well there's a decent amount of entertainment. I'm not sure I believe there's this mythical place of 4-3 losses and compelling, passing, attacking football every week. Not on a sustained basis anyway."

"Yep we got it Side. Anything negative regarding West Ham then you will be prolific on here and let everyone know about it. Anything positive and you won't say anything on here because you only like to speak about positive things about West Ham to close friends and family. üòÖ You still haven't answered my question though. Who do you want to win the semi final? What would be best for ""òFootball""ù?"

If Basel make the final we could conceivably win the tournament without having to face a side from any of the top leagues in Europe.
