"But if we win we qualify for the Europa league next year - so we'll have done better than anyone outside the top 4? Not saying this to say Moyes should stay, but it would be the best result in more than 40 years."

"Ah so despite being so passionate about the style of football that we are expected to play and to even go as far to say you would prefer Gent to beat us as you want Football to be the winner you didn't think it was relevant to actually give an opinion when we did actually play ok and won? So just to confirm, if we don't play entertaining football/Lose you will complain and have an opinion but if we play entertaining football and win it becomes a bit obsolete and unnecessary to give an opinion and say something positive? Ok Side that makes sense! üòÇ So who will you be supporting in the semi final? For the good of Football what would you like the final to be?"

If we win the cup and finish say 12-14th - wouldn't we have to consider that a good season?

"Yes the colours looked great thanks. They really stand out particularly in games under the lights. Love them! Oh most of us are disappointed with the results and performances this season and expect better but most of us also would never want us to lose either. It's strange how for such a prolific poster you decided not to make any comment about the match on Thursday. Pretty sure if we had lost or won ugly you would have had your say. AZ Alkmaar are a decent team who play some nice stuff so will you be hoping they win the semi final so ""Football is the winner""ù or are you taking and wait and see approach on that one?"

I and many others need it to be a bit more than that""¶.stop thinking you are on the higher ground with those expecting better for the club's quality of football""¶.you've missed the point on what many were brought up on about West Ham""¶.the colours are low down""¶.."

"Side of Ham, what did you think about Thursday's performance? You were noticeably absent from having an opinion. Was Football the winner or were you a bit upset about Gent crashing out and so decided to have a leave of absence for a couple of days?"

"No way has he told the players he is leaving in the summer, that sort of turnout doesn't go on at this level, ffs, he doesn't even talk to them does he, and even if he had said that it would of come out for sure from various sources. Looks like he would have to be sacked if he is to leave."

I've seen from two different sources one on YouTube and a postee on another forum claiming Moyex will stay. I hope they're both wrong.

"The French think we are not going to keep Moyes and we ""veut"" Lille manager Paulo Fonesca. (poor grammar of that aside) https://www.foot01.com/equipe/lille/losc-paulo-fonseca-vers-west-ham-contact-confirme-421693 He has done a good job of dragging Lille back and making them a decent attacking team. They won the title, lost their manager and sold a bunch of players a couple years ago. (Botman at Newcastle and Maignan, Milan's keeper for instance) The manager just before Fonesca was both defensive and out of his depth. Lille are at least decent to watch this season. Would not be the worst appointment in my view."

"Reading Moyes is planning for next season. I really couldn't do another season of it. Another year aged Antonio and that's Moyes attacking game plan done. Run Antonio Run at 34 years old, shudders."

"I've watched a few of Reims games, I think the results tell a different story to how they actually play Their game against Marseille, might have lost but they attacked them all game and pinned them right back I've been so impressed by the way they play, no fear whoever they're playing, not scared to take risks in their press or attacks I personally lean more towards Still than Fonseca, Fonseca has much better players at his disposal and only 8 points ahead with Lille Would take either over Moyes in the summer though"
