I loved the Jam and saw them a couple of times when they were at there peak. Everything that Paul Weller has done since just doesn't do anything for me at all. I played club cricket or about a decade and Bruce Foxton was in the oppo team once andbowled a bit of decent dibbly dobbly medium pace. He staying arounf for a few beers after the match and seemed a lovely bloke too - no airs and graces at all. Also played against Ross Kemp; he hit the ball a long way but his innings was short.
