"fonz, fair play to you. what games were people singing ""sacked in the morning""? I can only remember the ""don't know what you're doing"" at fulham when he took off jimmy instead of soucek"

"It was good to see a bit of passion from Moyes after the Rice goal. A trophy is good for his career as well as it is for us fans. It's something on his cv for future employers. We still need to part company at the end of the season, however it finishes."

"Takeshi Yes mate I go home and away and on plus 70 points. Its been a shit season overall but I am not a fan of us booing him. Not signing his name fine, but to boo and sing you're getting sacked in the morning is not for me. In response to them dominating us for 1.5 parts of the tie. A team drawing away and taking it to the home leg isnt a bad result. It was a shit performance the away leg but the result over the two justified it. The home leg was their cup final and they were of course going to be up for it and go at us. We could have also nicked it if Bowen scores the 1 on 1 and Antonio does better near end. I can remember a lot worst performances in Europe under different managers than that. Maybe thats the issue, my expectations of West Ham are so low!"

"Spot on what Pentonville said. Under no circumstances, even if we win every game from now on in can this bloke be our manager come August. The level of opposition in this competition is diabolical and we was getting pissed over for 1.5 games, we could be in the bottom 3 again this time next week so not getting to carried away. Hopefully stay up and he does win a trophy but it's still time to part ways."

"""How can we boo a manager that has given us that possibility?"" have you not watched us in the league for the past fifteen months? I loved last night, but we're in a second semi final despite him being manager, not because of him"

Got it spot on over the two legs? FMOB we were completely outplayed for nearly 1.5 games. They missed easy chances to win last week 20 shits to 4 and you think he got it spot on..

So if we lose the semi is twolefteet gonna demand Moyes is sacked (again)? Hard to keep up.

"My what a fickle bunch. The opposition in this cup up till now has been poor. Moyes level. I want us to win more than anything and remain up but pray even if we do both that he is fucked off as soon as final whistle is blown. He has overseen a complete fuck up of 200million, his tactics are shocking and it don't take a genius to see 1000games and no trophies due to his safety first style of play. If we stay up and win cup it is in spite of him and not because of him. If you watched last night and the first leg and think we are through due to a Moyes masterclass then my god football ain't for you. Player power is keeping us up and potentially winning a cup"

"Always liked Moyes and never joined in with the booing or songs wanting him out. Disagreed with his line ups like Gent away but you have to give it to him he has got it spot on over the two legs. I always felt that with him, we would win the European Cup. How can we boo a manager that has given us that possibility? I do think that things have soured so much he would need to leave at end of the year regardless od what happened. But if he keeps us up which is highly likely snd we win this competition then he's been the most successful manager we have had in my lifetime (30)."

"""yes we have been shit and the manager has been poor in some decisions but the players have also been shite"" If it was only a few of the players then you might have a point. When every single player on the team underperforms on a regular basis then it's pretty fucking obvious that it's the manager to blame. Whether it's down to tactics, training, motivation, or a combination of all three, it's the manager who is solely responsible for collective player performance."

"I'll be happy to see moyes lead us to premier league survival and a euro conference win. And i'll be happy to see the back of him and a younger, more dynamic manager appointed to oversee an overhaul of the club."

"whos to say a new manager would of done us any better this year , yes we have been shit and the manager has been poor in some decisions but the players have also been shite , were starting to see the west ham of the last few years now , if we do go on to win id give him the 1st 5 games of next season. winning a European cup would earn that"

"IF we won it (and that's still a big IF), then you'd hope most fans feelings about Moyes will be put right at the back of their mind and they'd be able to enjoy the moment."

"I don't see it as Moyes ""fucking us over"". He's done the best he could given his limited managerial ability and unambitious attitude. He massively lucked out due to lockdown, without which he'd have probably relegated us in his first season back, and would never have got us to 6th the following season. But that doesn't make him a cսnt. If you want to feel bitter towards anyone it should be Sullivan, who is the one where the responsibility lies for keeping him in place all season long, and who will no doubt crow about having won us a European trophy when his megabucks sale goes through, if we win it."

"LeroysBoots 7:21 Thu Apr 20 I just can't look it at it that way. It will be good for me and mine. I can't give his personal accomplishments that much weight. That said my hope is that he will be gone either way, like it was just before the World Cup."
