We are only allowed 4 loan players and I think we have 2 so we need to think carefully about who we do get.

And that's after spending £150m in the summer and winning the transfer window (apparently).

I reckon we'll end up with Ionnidis from Panathinaikos, and that will be that, another Greek tragedy.

If I had to pick 1 Striker above all else right now I'd ideally sign it's Santiago Gimenez at Feyenoord. Geezer's got it and reckon he could handle the demands of the Premier League both physically and mentally. A proper old fashioned Centre Forward. Fantastic goal scoring record wherever he's played and scored/assisted plenty in European compensations too. At 23yo, he'd be a long term answer for us.

Whilst we wait for this to kick off, here's an article about one of the guys Steidten went for previously that we've no doubt missed the boat on now:

Yuri Alberto | A goal every 2 games across 50 odd games this season.

i would sell Areola, im sure we can cope with just fab and fod
100%. Get him out and sold for half decent money. Shifting his wages will be a millstone around our necks though. Praying for a silly Saudi offer to take him off our hands... ( 👐 👀 )

Surely we don't want a left back? We have Emerson, AWB who covers both sides, and Scarles coming through (as well as Cresswell in a pinch).

Signing a left back would block Scarles progress totally.

Centre midfielder with some legs and a centre forward with some pace & strength.

i doubt either will happen. We’ve no money and we’re always shit in the January window.

Rashford is a permanent walking Circus distraction now. Fuck having that clown around the place asking it all about him. And once we got him, we'd never be able to flog him on his extortionate wages. Steer well clear of that one.

As for Rodriguez, I'm having a street party when he leaves.

try and get Dewsbury Hall on loan

Rashford on loan anyone?

Rodriguez can go, is it worth recalling Aguerd?

Kelleher the Liverpool keeper should be one of our main targets in the summer

I can see Rodriguez leaving for a modest fee, but otherwise nobody is paying £90m for Kudus in January.
Same with Fullkrug, I’m sure we’d want a chunk of his fee back.

I'd take the CFC lad on loan (only if he's up for it)  and flog Kudus for his release clause ALL DAY LONG..

That's my prediction. And  •  would probably still contribute more up front than anything else we currently have as a No 9 Striker.
