"geoffpikey 12:33 Fri Oct 9 Nice album that but doesn't top 1972 for me. Nor, more arguably, Under Cold Blue Stars either. He shouldn't have moved to Spain though...."

"Trying not to be too nerdy here, but Marr wasn't so involved in Raise The Pressure. He'd just become a dad and had the Smiths courtcase in his head... he knew Raise The Pressure wasn't great. Johnny told me that. They asked Karl Bartos ((Kraftwerk) to produce / add ideas. Mentally, they they found out Bartos was obsessed by the Kinks and 60s ""beat pop""... It was all a mistake, by all. Decks cleared, Twisted Tenderness is more Marr than Sumner. But still a good partnership. And it's brilliant."

"geoffpikey 3:42 Agree with all of that fella, and SDM is the standout on that album, although I would say Raise The Pressure was pretty gash in comparison imo. The Gutter Twins - Saturnalia"

"High 5 to Mary. Electronic was a great thing. Dipped a bit on Raise The Pressure (wrong title alert) but Electronic to Twisted Tenderness... generally gold. I wish they would work together again. ""Some Distant Memory"" is sublime. Like Technique got fixed by Johnny Marr. Wizard. (And, yes, for once I am not joking.)"

yngwies Cat 11:25 Thu Oct 8 I know I know. In God we trust. Great riffs and that is a top power metal tune. I'm not sure they dress up as wasps these days and chick bibles into the crowd..

"Krokus "" Metal Rendez-vous"" The subtle nuances of AC/DC's soiled undergarments underpin this apotheosis of the vibrant Maltese/Swiss retro metal scene, much missed. The way in which ""Tokyo Nights"" switches to reggae half way through is a pure vision of one-world love and pan-national harmony. Via chest hair and Flying Vs. The King Tubby dub breakdown session (demo recorded in Guadalupe) is astonishingly powerful. Riddim! Plus, it's on the Arista label. The company that made Motown quake."

"I've heard lots of people raving about this Taylor Swift album so I took a listen and I can confirm it's utter shit. She's trying to be ""taken seriously""ù by doing a bad Lana Del Ray impersonation. No ta."

"WHO has many cul-de-sacs. This is the prime one. However, I feel graceless not offering. Josh Rouse."" Nashville"" album. Heartbreak, so much he moved to Spain after. For Nashville he decided he'd try and write as Johnny Marr would. It worked. It's a beautiful thing. Taylor Swift. ""Folklore"". This is the best collection of songs in ,2020. Fact."
