"Although (much) stranger things have happened, I can't believe these Poch rumours, if Spurs don't sack Conte soon, which is very unlikely since they are currently top 4, I would have thought Poch at this point will sit it out till the summer. The Chelsea job could easily come up at some point soon too."

This can't be true about Poch surely. If true how could anyone have this information and with how things are at the moment not sack Moyes immediately and bring him in Not even our lot could be that incompetent could they? Even forgetting any footballing nouse from a business point of view its a no brainer surely

Pochettino's team are trying too force Levy to act.! He's batting his eyes. Flashing a bit of skin. And has no interest in hooking up with us. Hope I'm wrong. But can't see it happening. Unless something seriously going on at the club. And no one outside the boardroom has the full picture.

"""We were told earlier this season no chance as Poch respected that we were a rival of Spurs who he still held in high regard?"" I don't think he ever said that. He did say soon after getting sacked by Spurs when he was linked with Arsenal, ""I am never going to be manager of Barcelona or Arsenal because I am so identified with Tottenham and Espanyol."" I don't think our rivalry with Spurs is the same as Arsenal and he even backtracked on that a bit, later on anyway."

"I'd be over the moon with pochettino but let's face it not going to happen. Not enough of a yes land for Sullivan's liking. Forget the spurs thing, no such loyalties in management. Harry went and managed them after managing us didn't he?"

If Poch really was interested and Sullivan pulled the plug then we should burn the club to the fucking ground.

If Pochettino really is interested: A) I'd be over the fucking moon B) Whatever the result tomorrow it MUST be bye bye David and hello Mauricio lest the chance comes and goes.

"I think back in November, if we offered him a big wedge of cash, given he lives relatively locally, we are now up there with the biggest spenders on the planet, second highest average attendance in England, realistic chance of winning a trophy in Europe, it would have been strange for him to turn it down, especially if we gave him a get out clause at end of the season. Still, Swindon knows best."

"Eerie Descent 7:44 Fri Feb 24 Re: Moyes Out Apparently it's true and he is still up for joining us now (I know I know I've seen all the papers). One spurs forum who were discussing him said they had better move fast as he is in the verge of joining us. Fuck me I hope it's true. Wonder where he would stand if he came in and we still went down""¶"

"his press conference today was a bit worrying. he was asked by multiple journalists about ings, in a polite way saying ""when are you going to fucking play him?"" . his answer, ""he's on a multi year deal, and may be ready in three of four games"". maybe he's playing mind games in it steve cooper, maybe not üòÇ"

Anyone hear this rumour that pochettino was interested before and was actually in talks and Sullivan pulled the plug in favour of keeping Moyes?

"Coffee 11:55 Fri Feb 24 ''Curbishley or whoever, there's absolutely no point in bringing in someone just for the sake of change.'' Blimey. Not sure many would agree with that, so if no one credible is available you would keep Moyes and watch him take us down? A change isn't as good as a rest? While I don't necessarily go along with the theory that ''anyone would be better'' it surely can't be hard for any new bloke to better Moyes's record this season, almost impossible in fact, unless he loses every game which is extremely unlikely with our squad."

Let's not forget that Curbs had way more money to spend than most of our managers had and he ran away sharpish when the money ran out.

Curbs? LOL. People always seem to forget that after that win in his 1st game for us it took him 3 months to get another one! He had a rabbit in the headlights look about him all season long and I don't think he had fuck all to do with us staying up. It was actually that 4-3 loss to Spurs where we were 3-2 up until the last minute that seemed to galvanise the players to go for it for the rest of the season.
