Re: Thanksgiving
"Manuel 5:30 Thu Nov 23 Not really a Thanksgiving thing, cherries are a summer fruit. Pumpkin or better sweet potato-pecan. When I was there at least."

Re: Thanksgiving
"Done a bit of work this morning with my European offices but will have a lazy day watching the west Ham football and NFL games. Will be having Turkey I think, but don’t go big for it like some others do."

Re: Thanksgiving
"Nuts - Sounds really good. I've always liked the way the Yanks celebrate a lot of things every year, really patriotic, and have the big do's and loads of lovely fucking food and booze to tuck into. Assuming it's like it is in the films in real life? A bit of me, that."

Re: Thanksgiving
"Not sure I’ve even ever bothered to find out what the fuck thanksgiving is all about, as with scorch I just like that it always means a triple header of nfl games. Got a work do tonight which means I’ll miss 2 of them and our game which is a bastard, but free alcohol is the bane of my life and something I find it hard to say no to. Happy thanksgiving!!!"
Re: Thanksgiving
"Love Thanksgiving. Off to the in laws, the Mr.s stepdad is Dutch, he loves a drink and usually ends up making a bit of a scene, the wife‚Äôs brothers and I always look forward to the family Drama‚Ķ. We will sit down watch some football, eat some delicious food, Prime Rib, Turkey, Scalloped potatoes, Charred Brussels sprouts etc: always enjoy the Waldorf salad. Couple of Drams of Jameson‚Äôs, whilst playing black Jack and watching football all day, beautiful day outside so kids will be in the pool, Plus it‚Äôs a four day weekend and some great deals to be had at the stores tomorrow‚Ķ‚Ķ What‚Äôs not to like?‚Ķ‚ĶOne of the best weekends of the year, a great tradition. But eh, You can stick to celebrating burning some cսnt at the stake while standing around your bonfires if you like, getting all excited over your sparklers and how loud your bangers go bang‚Ķ.Ag Ag Ag Ag! Enjoy your day at work!"

Re: Thanksgiving
"I was just going to enjoy the NFL triple header around our game later, but one of my friends who happens to be American is cooking a thanksgiving dinner so I'm off to do that after full time in Vienna instead. Whatever the occasion a free dinner is always a welcome treat."

Re: Thanksgiving
Not something that has gained much traction in Belvedere - even among the devotees at the Nanak Darbar Sikh Temple.
