"ragingbull 11:41 Thu Nov 2 ''What a great signing is Kudus, but i get this vibe that he using us as a stepping stone and he's very confident in his ability'' Steady on, it's a bit early for all that, and how would you know what the player thinks, Columbo? In the same way some right players off too quickly, some also big up new arrivals as Messi mark 11 too quickly as well. Even if you are right, if we get to enjoy a great player for a few seasons and sell him for a big profit it's not really a problem anyway, is it."

"Benrahma could be great, but he seems trapped the wrong side of the small margin that separates him from greatness. Maybe he'll find the energy he needs to make the transition, but we've been waiting some time already"

"Last night we had Benrahma, Bowen, Paqueta & Kudus in advanced midfield positions. All of them can carry the ball, beat an opponent, make a cross and score a goal. That's hard to defend against. Long live BPBK!"

Bit concerned about Aguerd or Kerher in DM - both would have to put on a bit of timber for the role in the PL.

I think Aguerd would be best suited to that DM role in an emergency. I think that Dinos should remain as CB and if he continues to impress then should be considered first choice.

Some commentators were saying it was a lucky trap by Kudus but I read on youtube that had done this often at Ajax.

RM A manager who can play more than one formation- can change it up between the one up top to two as dictated by game conditions - is prone to innovation - knows when to substitute- can nurture and use the Academy - is far less stubborn and one dimensional by nature - to name a few attributes that so many others possess. The most obvious candidate is out of work candidates like Potter who I happen to think is an excellent choice. I’ll trust TS to handle that as he seems to have the necessary perspective to know what’s required. There are managers employed that may jump at it. It was said that Silva was willing to come over toward end of last year. Not saying he’s a solution but maybe Frank would do similar . It’s just a matter of negotiation which again we have to leave to TS as his track record thus far with new acquisitions has been exemplary.

I’m still a bit surprised that he hasn’t tried Kehrer in that defensive midfielder position.

Would playing Dinos for the suspended ?Ålvarez be considered altogether too outrageous?

Certainly NOT taking the bait on this and getting back on a wagon. I didn‚Äôt think Arsenal really wanted it. Were content to just go through the motions. We won‚Äôt know till Brentford if we‚Äôve turned a corner. If we have WTF happened during those three games we just played? This (judging the troglodyte ?ü¶ñ ) on a set number of games isn‚Äôt working. It‚Äôs designed to facilitate a scenario where the can is always kicked down the road -so to speak. Midget needs to grow a pair and just get in a new manager - it‚Äôs about getting someone in who has what it takes to move the club where we need to be. Next game going to be interesting but we‚Äôll likely be back on our heads again playing cagey football as per.

Strange old game we were absolutely atrocious in the first half we literally could not string 2 passes together. Luckily went in 1-0 without having a single shot on or off target. Came straight out the blocks in the second and very unlucky with the early chance from Bowen. Kudus who was the best player on the park and once we started getting the ball out to him caused them all sort of problems scored a fantastic goal the touch and finish were sublime. His strength pace vision and finishing are going to be massive and I would enjoy this lad whilst he’s here Lucky third goal but you don’t buy a ticket and all that. Solid at the back most of the game apart from a 20min spell in the first half after we scored they never really looked like threatening after half time and although I wouldn’t admit to those cunts they are a very good team even if they had a few stiffs out. Thought the Greek looked good again he looks like an excellent signing in the limited time he’s had. Emerson played well and vlad was solid defensively even Aguerd managed to get through a game without a clanger. All in all great win and hopefully after this weekend when Paq and Alvarez are suspended hopefully we’ll stick to this front three for a while with Paq in behind. I’m guessing Saturday Antonio will go back up top with Bowen on the right kudus to replace Paq and JWP to replace Alvarez. I’d like to see Dinos given a run as well as he deserves it.

"Not that I care either way but I expect Bowen just thought, Declan has been booed, I don't want to appear too pally... I'm sure they had a laugh and a chat afterwards. Saw an interview with Vlad in which I'm sure he said that Rice came into the dressing room after..."

"More often than not, if you have less possession you will create less chances, which means that you need to be extra clinical with the opportunities that you do get. I think most of us would be willing to concede possession if we saw the pressing game with attacking intent that we got in the 2nd half last night. What we've largely been served is an ultra conservative approach to games, where we invite pressure and sit off. We end up conceding more possession because we don't press. If we carry on as we did in the second half last night I think we'll see a natural improvement to those underlying stats."

"As some have said the first half wasn't the best, particularly our final pass, but that being said we were much livelier than of late and pressed much higher. As for the stats, you can always look at them from the point of view that Arsenal despite 72% possession provided little threat and much of them having the ball they were unable to use it effectively because we were harrying to greater effect. Our problem was we gave it back to them too quickly through poor passing. I thought both Paquetta and Kudus were much more circumspect at where on the field they took chances, maybe the manager got in their ear after the Everton game. The Moyes detractors will of course find this a ridiculous suggestion. But I'll give him some credit as his tactics seemed spot-on for this game. Overall it was a good evening with a great atmosphere and I loved the ""You should have joined a big club"" chant aimed at Rice whom I neither clapped or booed. MOM between Kudus and Emerson and the only stat that mattered 3-1"

I wonder if the thing between Bowen and Rice might have come from England duty?
