"While I agree that the shit he got was way OTT, especially in hindsight, his Mum fucked me off with the way she blamed Hoddle. The facts of the matter are that at that point in time Beckham was a cocky, petulant prick. That petulance hindered England in that match big time. Instead of blaming the manager who was emotional and had just had his team's chances impacted by said petulance, just fucking own the mistake and admit that he was to blame on this occasion (and recognise that your shit parenting contributed to the brat you had brought up). To be fair to Beckham he pretty much acknowledged ownership of the fuck up later on in the series."

"I thought it was decent. He has always come across as a likeable bloke and clearly has a business head on him because he has been immensely successful with the brand. Thought he got too much stick from 98 as it was a nothing kick and the Referee as well as Simeone were at fault, which Simeone pretty much admitted. That said he fell for it but didn't deserve the shit he got. Was interesting how he didn't flat out deny the Loos speculation and I must confess I had forgotten how barren trophy wise his Madrid years were. The only thing I thought he was not quite honest about was when he said he never did certain things to annoy Fergie when clearly he did a bit. I mean you clearly knew where you stood with Ferguson so you would know you would piss him off doing certain things. Good on Fergie though for appearing, says a lot about Hoddle that he seemingly refused. Both Stallone and Swarzenegger have documentaries on Netflix and both worth a watch."

"It was MUCH better than I was expecting (which really wasn't much, to be fair). He comes across as a good bloke, which I suspect he is for the most part. I felt she was much more considered in what she said, like she was thinking ahead. I'm glad it made Glenn Hoddle look like a cսnt, because he is. I was intrigued how they'd deal with Rebecca Loos as they'd been pretty honest (seemingly, anyway) about life up to that point. When it happened they denied it and said they'd sue, which naturally they didn't. I knew they wouldn't deny it and I couldn't see him admitting it - and in the end neither happened. They didn't call it rumours, just talked about how difficult the whole time was and generally sidestepped it (which really is a massive admission). Loos wasn't referred to. Enjoyed him pulling her up on exaggerating stuff, like how she got to school. It made him seem funny and honest, but it made her look a bit disingenuous."
