Insurance Claim Management Companies

"I was involved in an RTA. Turning right onto a road and was hit in the side by a car that was clearly speeding (the police verbally told me that they were going to charge him and they breathalysed him but not me). Obviously its not 100% clear that the other driver will get full liability for this (the charge, if followed up may not stick). I've spoken to a company called National Accident Support Line today who told me they believe I have a case and are willing to get my car repaired (or pay out if written off), provide a hire car, check me out for injuries and claim for injury compo if required and cover my excess at no risk to me (no win no fee). This, all sounds too good to be true especially as my insurance company told me that the default position is that the car doing the manouver usually gets the blame (even if the other party was breaking the law). Anyone had any experience with one of these companies?"

"Not suggesting that you shouldn't pursue it, however the rise in the number of claims management companies are one of the main reasons for rocketing premiums. It's a fucking joke"
