The midfielder has a deal expiring at the end of this season and no progress has been made to renew the contract. On Wednesday, TuttoMercatoWeb stated Inter Milan are keeping an eye on the 29-year-old to replace Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who has received a rich offer from Saudi Arabia. It was also said Zieli?Ñski has interest from the Premier League but there was no mention of West Ham or any other club. TMW‚Äôs claim is relayed by Spazio Napoli, who then give their own take on this case. The Nerazzurri are serious about the Poland international and are aiming to sign him on a free transfer next summer. They aren‚Äôt the only club chasing the player as Juventus and various other clubs, with ‚ÄòWest Ham above all‚Äô, are also in the tussle for the Serie A winner. It‚Äôs claimed the Old Lady and David Moyes‚Äô side have a ‚Äòstrong interest‚Äô in Zieli?Ñski, who could leave the Naples club for free after this season. The Hammers would find it difficult to secure his services because Zieli?Ñski‚Äôs desire is to continue in Italy. In addition to this, they will also have to overcome competition from Inter and Juve. C&H West Ham chase player once dubbed ‚ÄòThe new Messi‚Äô West Ham are reportedly scouting Marcus Edwards from Sporting Lisbon, as indicated by news outlets in Portugal. The former Spurs player, who had stints with Excelsior and Vitoria Guimaraes after leaving Spurs in 2019, has amassed three goals and four assists in the current season. Impressively, he recorded 12 goals and 14 assists across all competitions last season. Edwards is a prodigiously gifted player with considerable potential and would fulfil the homegrown quota requirement for West Ham. The 24-year-old, who emerged from Tottenham‚Äôs youth academy, made his senior debut in 2016 and earned praise from then-manager Mauricio Pochettino, who likened him to Messi. However the Argentine later hinted at regretting that statement. Despite limited appearances in the Spurs first team, Edwards carved out a successful career in the Netherlands and Portugal. West Ham‚Äôs scouts were present at the recent Sporting vs. Benfica match in Portugal, and Portuguese outlets are now reporting the club‚Äôs interest in the talented player. Since signing for Lisbon, Edwards has established himself as one of Sporting‚Äôs top players. The Londoner scored on his first return to Tottenham last season, netting the opener in a 1-1 draw in the Champions League group stage. In a peculiar turn of events, there are suggestions that Tottenham might consider bringing Edwards back to the club. Caught Offside West Ham could offer in excess of ‚Ǩ50 million for 28-year-old Bundesliga star West Ham United have been linked with a move for the German midfielder Leon Goretzka. Apparently, the 28-year-old midfielder is a target for a number of Premier League clubs in the coming months. Fichajes claims that the Hammers would be willing to offer more than ‚Ǩ50 million for the German international and it remains to be seen whether Bayern Munich are prepared to sell him. The report claims that the German outfit are already looking at potential replacements for Goretzka. West Ham could certainly use a quality box-to-box midfielder like him. He could prove to be a major upgrade on Tomas Soucek if West Ham can get the deal done. The midfielder has proven himself in German football over the years and the opportunity to move to the Premier League could be an exciting option for him right now. He has a contract with Bayern Munich until the summer of 2025 and the German club might feel that this is the right time to cash in on him and invest in someone younger with higher potential. Goretzka has the physicality to succeed in the Premier League and he could be an important player for West Ham in the coming seasons. He will drive, physicality and defensive cover to the West Ham midfield. The German international could be the ideal partner for Edson Alvarez in the midfield pivot. It will be interesting to see if the two clubs can agree on a reasonable fee in the coming weeks."
