"Yup, to have that happen twice should mean an absolute no brainer to hang them up. It would only be a matter of time until it happened again."

Without the on the spot expert medical assistance and equipment available yesterday he very probably wouldn't be here today. Fair play to all involved and I hope the fans get to see the replayed fixture free of charge These incidents also take me back to Marc Vivian Foe who wasn't so fortunate. RIP MVF

"Wish him a speedy recovery. If he wants to stay in football could do no worse than taking his badges: John Lyall & Brian Clough didn't fare badly following that path, after premature retirement,"

"He shouldn’t put his wife, family and teammates through this again. Time to knock it on the head and enjoy the rest of his life."

He's got to knock it on the head if this is his second heart issue.

"Well at least he's alive, wish him all the best but expect that's his last game as a footballer. Top lad by all accounts as well."
