Antonio and Kudus have both pulled out of their respective international games.

"Well I just watched that podcast too Comma. Robbie Mustoe definitely did realise that Moyes guided the team back to low block. he repeated it too but Earl thought Moyes hadn't done that. For me the fact that pundits are actually only just realising that fans see Moyes defensive mind as the problem and are not ""wishful thinking"". I hope this is a sign that we will see more questions being raised by pundits in future."

"Listened to the two Bobs, they never said much that we did not already see with our own eyes. Going home on Sunday it seemed to me that there was credit due to Emery because he changed things around for Villa and Moyes had no answer to it other than reverting to type. People miss the point thinking that Moyes sent the team out to defend deep and preserve the lead because it was Emery’s changes to team and tactics that forced us back to eventually lose the lead. In short the difference between the two teams was the level of tactical astuteness of the managers. There might be more than a few ills fns thinking that if Emery had adopted his second half set up from the beginning they’d have come away with all three points."

If we played like the first half I think most people would not be on Moyes case. Second half was back to moyes ball after Johnson came on. But was we robbed again. Felt like it

"Re: RM10 Unfortunately the current directive is that, if the ball has hit the goal scoring player's hand, the goal is disallowed. Even if his arms are tucked in as you described in your post. The problem I have with that current interpretation is if Antonio did the same thing up the other end of the pitch and prevented a goal being scored the Referee doesn't give a penalty. One rule for the attacking team, another for the defending team."

"On Kudus’s goal, I’m sure we heard the ref’s whistle in the TB stand before it hit the net. I’ve read the ref saw a foul, maybe on Martinez, but allowed Villa advantage to start a counter from their box. He blew up when Villa lost the ball to Kudus. Is that all in the rules these days? Pretty strange but nobody seemed to complain at the time."

"It's just 1 metric I can compare just how much of a ""useless cսnt"" Soucek is by comparison to another player that plays the same position. Obsessing about his admittedly poor passing, yet don't seem to care anywhere near as much about all the defensive (as well as attacking) work he gets through, which is his primary job in the side. Overall he is a very reliable, decent Defensive Midfielder that also manages to contribute heavily towards us scoring albeit with bad passing ability. A useless cսnt, he definitely ain't and actually deserves more respect as a fully committed combative West Ham player."

"Why was kudas goal disallowed and with Antonio’s var, if your arm is tight to your body and tha ball hits it then it counts as your body? Didn’t see souceks in detail?"

"David Moyes in-game-management is appalling. All Emory did, was bring on fresh players from their academy and told them to go in search of a goal. Wee Davey, begrudgingly put on defenders to protect a 1-0 lead, with predictable consequences. Emory is not a tactical genius but Moyes made him look like one."

"you cant compare Phillips scoring stats at City to Soucek's here thats just stupid isn't it Thats the problem though, he is a CM in a team looking to attack and have more of the ball. He can't leave the job of decent passing to others as thats one of the main jobs of his position. His shit passing and lack of courage to get on the ball is a major reason why we rarely have over 50% posession Yes he wins a few headers and can track runners, but give me someone who is technical, can ball carry and pass way way better over him anyday"

"Rossal - Yes, he makes goals as in he scores plenty of them as well as assist them on occasions. 31 goals and 10 assists to be precise since he arrived. In comparison to City Superstar Phillips who plays in his position and who's supposed to be better than him has managed just 1 goal and 3 assists. No one has ever said Souceks passing is good, it's quite clearly poor. However my point with regards to how useless you say he is, goes way beyond his passing accuracy. As there's so much more to his game than perfecting the art of passing, which he quite rightly leaves to others more better equipped at doing so. Useless, he definitely ain't."

"I have droned on about Soucek for 2 years but would say he has been at his best over the last few weeks. In a team that plays Moyesball ( sit compact, deep, keep the shape, organised and counter quickly or score via set plays ) he is a good fit as every game he makes a crucial block or tackle, wins a lot in the air despite being the slowest central midfielder in the division and one of the worst technically ( control and passing ), But he has been a great signing for 15 or so million. And his time mirrors Moyes general success of taking us from relegation struggles ( for the most part as I realise last season we were close to one) to getting some European experience and mid table and upwards. But we need to upgrade and get in players who probably cost 35 million or more like Alvarez, We are playing a 15 million player and he looks that. He makes up a bit for that with a great attitude, 110% commitment but if we want to improve he is one that simply has to be replaced in the starting 11."

"Massive Attack 2:17 Mon Mar 18 So you say he makes goals.... he has 2 assists. He has scored some goals, plenty though come against the shit teams or in Europe His passing isn't great is understatement of the year, every fucking week the ball falls to him and he either hoofs it back to them or gets his head up and passes it straight to the opposition. He is too scared to get on the ball when the defenders have it. First half yesterday Luiz and Tielemens got on the ball time and time again from their defenders, didnt always work but they had the bollocks and ability to want the ball in tight areas. Soucek wouldn't last 3 games playing for someone like Emery. In fact as i said few weeks back apart from Burnley and Sheff Utd does he get in any other side?"

master 3:09 Mon Mar 18 Fascinating seeing the replay from that angle. Watch the ref closely and it looks as if he was happy to play on until the exact moment Kudus was about to pull the trigger. Why didn't he let it go to var?

"Master 12.20 Saw it on MOTD - “ effort “ is right . Pathetic, ambling back , an absolute and total liability in a team that has by its set up more defending to do than practically all others ."

The kudus goal is probably the worst decision. Ref gave a foul on Martinez (who couldn’t handle our balls into box all game) . He blew his whistle before kudus scored but it meant that Var couldn’t overrule as everyone had stopped.
