Looks like Emerson is out for Thursday . A potential hammer blow . Brylcreem boy will be in and if I was the Freiburg manager I would target him . Just far too slow .

"Someone said on here the other day about European fatigue, not only the players, but the fans as well. I sense a bit of that. The poxy kick off time certainly ain’t going to help either."

"If I was the manager of Freiburg I would put a nippy attacker close to Zouma who looks shot. I'd man mark Bowen and close of that outlet. Moyes won't start Antonio so no need do anything there. I'd also get one of my players to foul Paqueta in our own half to get him annoyed and make him ineffective. Finally, all shots should be on the ground and in the corner because Fabianski is old and slow now. Now prove me wrong Moyes."

", 6:11 Not entirely sure as watched on a pretty shit stream, but the co-commentator was referred to as Tony so assumed, possibly incorrectly, that it was Gale."

"Once Alvarez came on we looked a different team tbh....One tackle he made in our box was just world class.Very underrated player. Shit game yesterday, no atmosphere which isn't surprising. Reminded me a bit of the game at Upton Park when we beat Bradford after coming from behind.,I couldn't see us losing yesterday, but first half was the worst Ive seen for awhile against such a shit team. Can understand why their keeper wasn't booked for time wasting."

"AOI 5.10 “Moyes seems to get no media criticism about how he sets us up.” A point often made. Yesterday I was told when I got home that the co commentator, on a stream, was criticising us heavily in the first half for the passive way we were in terms of tactics and intent. And in that respect he agreed with the negative view many of us fans have about the Moyes stewardship."

"I actually enjoyed the second half yesterday, although obviously pissed off that we didn't manage to beat the bottom side at home. Both Moyes and the players were to blame for a dreadful first half. The half-time subs were the right ones. And we were a bit unlucky not to get the win. Thursday will be tense. With our inability to stop any side from scoring against us. Going 2 down will be a real hill to climb."

"Moyes seems to get no media criticism about how he sets us up. Up against the worst team in the league he starts with three defensive midfielders. Yes three. And two of them are crap and the other not so great but at least he scores the odd goal and can head a ball. Also he starts Cresswell who was finished two years ago. How much of his stupidity, arrogance and ineptitude must we put up with?"

"A few of us miseries on here upset tye more optimistic posters early on this season when predicting mid table mediocrity and no Europe next season although at the time there was a hope we could go further in the League or FA cup for a change. That hope was soon extinguished. Compared with a few seasons ago its better than relegation fights each or every other season but for the investment in players over Moyes tenure, the tipping point was early 2022 in the league when results began to suffer and have at best been erratic ever since. The European record was good but is now beginning to slip. If Moyes was successful in his frst 2 or 3 seasons, he will have abject failure this season if, as exoected, we finish mid table and win nowt"

"As has been the case all season, our league position is false. We’ve blagged too many results which inevitably dries up. I think we’ll win maybe 2 of our last 10, Luton and possibly Fulham at home and lose the rest. Then we’ll be in our true position."

"No, we're going out. We've played into their hands because we've played them into some form and they prefer to counter attack. We also have no clue breaking teams down set up to counter attack so we'll just bang balls into the box expecting Bowen to somehow leap like a fucking salmon an nut a couple in. This won't work but we'll just keep doing it because we have no fuckin clue under Moyes. Then there will be a slew of rash subs too late in the game to make any fucking difference to the inevitable result, we'll have every cսnt on the pitch, Antonio, Ings, my fucking nan, Soucek standing in their box and we'll lump ball in the box some more. That's when we get sucker punched with some fuck up from calamity 'Nathan Agard' or own goal specialist Bobby Mavro. We'll be out with nothing to play for and some snivelling little cunts on here will still be saying the prick has credit on the fucking bank. Sack the prick today, give us a chance."

"What I found piss poor was that scoring after what 20 seconds of the second half but not again until fucking injury time, any side worth their sort against shit like Burnley, on the back foot, would have run out 4-2 or 5-2 winners, or worse case scored late with a winner, but we couldn't manage either. Our home record against lower half sides this season is shocking, fuck knows how we are still 7th. I think we will win Thursday, assuming Moyes doesn't make a complete mess of it, think we will be hurting with a lot of harsh words being said. Also think it will be rocking over there, albeit don't suppose the early KO helps."
