Hope she gets better - I assume this is bowel cancer from what has been released but the chances are good. A friend of mine was diagnosed when was in his mid twenties and has a section of of bowel removed and was stage 4 as there were secondaries in his liver. He had a course of chemo after the op and went back for a scan to see if the secondaries has been reduced and they were gone completely. He will turn 60 in 18 months time and has been healthy ever since the treatment but says he can still taste the chemo even after all this time..
