Moyes Out or Moyes In
Re: Moyes Out or Moyes In
Have I missed something as usually there's leaks from within the club about managers staying or going?

Re: Moyes Out or Moyes In
We need a massive overhaul in the summer and it will cost well over £100 million. He has flogged the same 14 players for the past 2 seasons pretty much and it has finally come home to roost. It's been a good 3 years but it is time for a massive change at the club starting with Moyes.

Changing my vote. Watching this wondering how we're even top half of the table. We look fucking gash. Unsure if that suggests we're maybe overachieving? Dunno. I love Moyes for what he's done for us..but if we can get Fonseca in and a big reshuffle of personnel - yes please.

i think he was done the moment he was knee capped in the window and then came out with the infamous dildo brothers conference. i remember moyes did that liverpool game with his hairy handed mate out in doha and was grinning like a cheshire cat talking about how interested he'd be in the west ham job. never sat well with me and it's fair to say it's been an uphill battle for him to win my affections since.

"i'd have stuck with slav even though his managerial skills were somewhat lacking. he was very west ham and probably the closest we'd get to having a genuine representative of the support in the dugout. moyes has been successful in his own way, which is a very david moyes way that i'll always associate with the everton and stokes of this world, and never west ham. i get football club dysmorphia watching us sometimes. short of getting some football equivilent of HRT which turns me from an anarchic football romantic to a fan of conservative presbyterian sorrow ball, i'd very much like someone else to come in to make me and my club whole again."

"Bungo - Yep, you're spot on, it's all a load of shit at the end of the day, maybe one reason why most just want a manager who plays good football and respects the fan base, before he leaves or is sacked."
Re: Moyes Out or Moyes In
"The thing that stops me getting excited by all this is the inevitable cycle that seems to be the norm for all football clubs now. Unless we can somehow find a close approximation of Ferguson c.1986, it seems that we (and pretty much every other club) are just going round the endless modern cycle of:- New manager joins - Enjoys a brief honeymoon period of uncertain length - Annoys some fans with tactics they don't like - Has a dodgy period of results - Fans say his tactics are negative - Fans say he has lost the dressing room - Momentum gathers to push the manager out - Manager sacked - Repeat ad nauseam. Whatever happens with Moyes, we'll be here again (and again) at regular intervals until we all die. The fact that the same few faces just keep going round and round really doesn't help give the process any credence. The recent trend of the same manager having multiple stabs at the same job makes it even more ridiculous. What's the point of it all? No idea..."

He's going. More chance of Christopher biggins having a threesome with Kelly brook and Maya jama than him being here next season .
Re: Moyes Out or Moyes In
OUT Football is as much about entertainment as about results and both have lacked at times. Poor return based on what we’ve laid out and still a below par squad outside the first 11. We need to ring the changes A gamble of course and will depend on whether Sullivan thinks the same way
