"People think we're going to go for it on Thursday? hahahahaha It'll be the usual trying to keep them at bay for 70/80 mins, then try a bit at the end. Usual team, usual shitty tactics, usual reactive subs giving them no time to do anything."

"Get tye right coach and 4 or 5 additiins of which 3 or more prove to be good quality and integrate a coupke of young uns and its possible we can see the start of something that is sustAinable. Will take selling Paqueta unfortunately as we need a top class CB or two, a striker or two, a wide left midfielder and another central midfielder to replacePaqueta. Bring Downes back as at least we know we have tye bedt defensive midfielder in the championship and a new coach could likely get a tune out of Cornet ( no pun intended ) . Antonio back to being a wide man still useful. We should say goodbye to Zouma, on Ings , Soucek, Cresswell, Aguerd, Oggy, Mubama and get a few bob to boost the budget on top of 85 mill for Paqueta and 100 mill the board will need to stump up making 200 million that will be needed. Steidten and the analytical team and scouts are obviously critical to everything. Will Sullivan allow proper change to happen and fully let go of footballing matters? Thats still one of the biggest risks or likely impediments to it bring successful. Acting fast and no procrastination involving meetings to “manage by committee” also helps. The exit from the Europa this Thurs and next defeat in the league should ensure the Moyes era is finally over"

"I dont really see how we can go for it without Emerson and Bowen Ings was anonymous again yesterday. Cresswell will get pinned back by Frimpong No Paqueta I can't work out if that is a bonus or not after his last few games, but then a midfield of Alvarez JWP and Soucek just makes me want to throw the towel in"

"I generally dont care too much what the result is, provided we go out there Thursday night and have a go!! Any side ways and backward bollocks, and hoping for a set piece just aint going to work!! Expect Moyse to sit back, and hope to counter, the negative Jock Git!!"

Our only hope is for Bayer to go on a four day bender and completely forget that they have a second leg to play. That still might not be enough.

"Bar a miracle on Thurs our season is over. A total wasted opportunity by Moyes. Worse still iif he goes, which I hope he does, the next manager will inherit an old squad without Paqueta and a terrible unorganised defence and no Europe. What a depressing thought."

I see that Leverkusen beat Bremen 5-0 yesterday to clinch the title! Not a bad way to do it.

If we manage to keep Kudus and Bowen next season despite not being in Europe I wont be that bothered about it as it could affect our league performance positively next season

"Now us and Liverpool are both out of the Europa League, does this affect how low down the table the European places will go? I know some were expecting g Europe down to 8th, is that s I'll the case now us and Liverpool have fucked it up? Not that we'll get 8th in the league the way we've been managed."

"I'm not saying that all of you cunting Moyes off are right or wrong but if that's the case surely the 2-0 scoreline is the perfect result? It means that we HAVE to play expansive football on Thursday night, doesn't it? We either give them a game and win or open up and get tonked in which case Moyes was right to defend for dear life in the away tie. It will be interesting either way."

Agree. Moyes in this situation would set up to defend a lead and have us do a hard night defending the box. Alonso will go out to put the game beyond us early and quickly kill off any chance of a comeback. We simply have to somehow score a very early goal and put some doubt in their minds.

"Agree Percy, Leverkusen will want and go for an early goal. As we have to as well. It obvious, but who gets the first goal will have a massive influence on the game."

Don't think Leverkusen are quite finished with us yet I'd expect Alonso will have his two subs that scored on from the start and them taking the game to us and coming out convincing winners.

"It’s completely remarkable what he’s done there. To beat Bayern Munich to the title by such a margin is an absolute feat given their complete stranglehold on German football, even if they’ve looked a bit vulnerable in the last year or so. Fucking comedy Kane went to at the time probably the safest bet in world football to win a trophy immediately and is likely coming away empty handed this season. Meanwhile it’s entirely possible Leverkusen could win a treble including a European trophy without losing one single game. That has to be a first?"

"Obviously can't say for sure decisions not going Antonio way almost ever is rascist, but as Ludo says, I do often wonder. I would say it's not really a concious thing, just deep rooted in our society. Hammer and Pickle, I also saw Zouma immobilized with an arm lock for that corner. It did seem incredible. Spanish commentator even said that it was generally in all games getting out of hand and it needed to be addressed."

"The other thing to remember about BL is that they were 2nd from bottom and in relegation trouble when Alonso went there in 2022. He took them to a Europa League semi-final and finished in 6th to qualify for this season's EL, but I'll wager he has never once banged on about how he saved them in interviews. He's got a better professional focus"

I don’t go for that Scorch….In Moyes’s world that’s not possible and it’s been done on a relatively modest budget…

"They are a fucking good team. Miles ahead of us and played some really good football. Unfortunate for us that we caught a white hot team on the rise, too good for the competition they are playing in really. Unless the vultures circle for their players, they’ll go really deep into the champions league next season as well no doubt. Even if Liverpool manage to beat Atalanta somehow (wouldn’t put it past the insufferable flukey cunts) I think Leverkusen will do them in the final anyway. Can’t have any complaints about the game. Would have been really good to keep it 0-0 and it was turning out to be a good Moyesey special rearguard achievement but pressure, quality, attacking mindset and relentlessness prevailed and they were deserved winners. We aren’t out of it but it’s going to have to take one fucking special performance to bring it back. 0-0 would have given us a great chance, even 1-0 not so bad but 2-0 feels like a bit of a mountain. I hope we go for it until it’s impossible and if we go down it’s in flames rather than with a whimper. Massive blow having no Paqueta or possibly Bowen though. No fucking idea what Paqueta was thinking. The idiot. Anyway. It doesn’t look good and this lot are not going to melt like Freiburg but it’s not over until it’s over."

"Despite the clear evidence before us this season’s Leverkusen team is being massively underrated. They are runaway leaders of the Bundeslig the team in a distant second place, BM, gave Arsenal a shock in midweek and are favourites to win their home leg and book a CL semi final place. We, an upper mid table EPL team have not been beaten away from home by mugs. Next week we can fight back and maybe get a win but making up a two goal deficit looks really unlikely due to our consistently high rate of goal conceding."

The only chance we have of turning this around next week is if every player ignores every word that deluded and arrogant cսnt tells them and ust go out and play like they might actually want to win the fucking game.
