I have asked several times for 1 reason that would justify him still being here in August but no one has offered a thing. "Balance and perspective is needed Imo He did a good job for 2 years and exceeded my expectations certainly. I was wrong about him at that time as I never thought he’d get us into Europe But he is limited tactically and as we then found out, limited with his people skills and knowledge of how to build a squad for the modern game. He got found out in 2022 but fortunately for him and even us fans we had the Conference league that masked a dreadful drop off in league form. And then his inability to understand the needs of a squad caught up too especially over the last 12 months. A season too far. Admitting we are wrong is a whole branch of psychological discussion and especially in the modern interconnected world :-). Takes a very strong, extremely humble and confident / self assured person to do that. Very rare and one thing that garners a lot of respect as its so rare. We can’t get close to it again without some major changes beginning with the manager and the management team."
