Bowen charged by the FA over alleged betting breaches

"Reading's head of football operations Mark Bowen has been charged with misconduct by the Football Association in relation to alleged breaches of their betting rules. The FA alleges that Bowen, 60, who played the majority of his career at Norwich and was capped 41 times by Wales, placed 95 bets on football matches, which were unrelated to Reading, between 19 April 2022 and 14 January 2024. Bowen, who was appointed by Reading in his current role in May 2022, has until Friday, 7 June, to respond to the charges."
