The Mont Blanc stuff is pretty decent, not too harsh on the wallet either.

Re: Favourite Parfum de L'homme
Caroline Herrera 212 & Calvin Klein Eternity for me back in the day.
Kouros was also very popular I seem to recall.
Although I don't much bother with after shave these days I did receive a Mandate gift set for Xmas last year so may crack it open some day soon.

Fragrancies aren't the same after they stopped using animal glands in the musks. This made them linger longer.
Not to get too nostalgic but scents deffinately bring back memories also when it comes to parfum de la femme. One fo my previous used to love Marc Jacobs. Every time I smell it it takes me back.

Body Shops Mostly Musk I thought was brilliant and no idea what went through their heads when they stopped doing it. I see bottles that used to cost a few quid are selling for over 150 quid on eBay still.

Re: Favourite Parfum de L'homme
I use Gravité now, I'm thinking to try Gucci Guilty Black too.
Back in the day, before it was readily available everywhere, Aramis was unique and unbeatable - it was honestly like catnip for girls, it certainly helped me along on many a carnal adventure.
Cool Water is a good basic daytime wear, settles down in the background quite nicely.

Davidoff cool water was a favourite back when, still got some left now and without meaning to go all Swiss if I do put some on it does transport me straight back.
Overall though I've always thought perfume/aftershave was all a big nonsense/scam, for men anyway - other people either can't smell it anyway or it wears off quickly, or if you put a heap on so others can smell it you become a bit of a figure of fun and get sarcastic comments.

Re: Favourite Parfum de L'homme
Many moons ago I used to organise business travel for Estee Lauder who used to send me tons of free shit, and lots of that was Tom Ford. I'd never heard of it so just chucked it all away.
Anyway, quite partial to my Dolce & Gabanna K ...
