New WHO Features

Post stubbo-admin »

This thread is just to announce new features as we release them on the board.

To kick this off:

1. Display Full Width.

Someone (I forget who) asked if the forum could take up the full width of the screen instead of being margin'd left and right.  You can set this now in the User Control Panel under "Board Preferences" then  "Display Options".  The option at the bottom of the list lets you decide if you want to "Use Maximum Width".

Some might like it, some won't, but it's there if you want to give it a try.  Also I'll have to create a new header image for full width, as it's not wide enough to cover the whole screen currently.

To keep this thread focussed, I'll lock the thread (and if you want to give feedback, use the existing Feedback thread below):

2. Remove 'Hammers News' Clickbait from the 'Latest WHU News' box.

This has been done as well.

3. Linked Accounts

Some of you no doubt have more than one account (as has always been the case on WHO).  If you want to 'link' those accounts (so you can skip between them and not have to keep logging in and out, this is also now possible in the User Control Panel (far tab, 'Linked Accounts').

NB.  Worth noting on this that the linkage of accounts is visible to myself and others in the back end (full disclosure).

More to follow as it happens.
