One of the great sportsmen of recent times.
One of my mates met him when he was doing warm weather training in Perth riding down from the hills to the beach with a group & said he was lovely guy happy to give autographs & pose for photos

Unfortunately it's already spread to his shoulder and in his bones. That is how he found out about it. Such a shame... his wife has also been diagnosed with advanced MS. They have 2 young kids under 12. Tragic

There are alot of positive stories of prostate cancer being diagnosed as terminal with people still around 10, 15 even 20 years later. Apparently have a positive mental attitude helps. That's one thing Chris Hoy has got.
Hope he is one of the ones that beat it. He deserves to enjoy the rest of his life.

Has achieved more than any other human could dream of. Made sacrifices like most people would never consider. An inspirational man.
