Thankfully we're in neither a classroom or lecture theatre so, in THE real world, communism is just another political instrument to help give those who feel entitled to power, access to that power.

OK, let’s have a go at actually discussing Communism as a social, economic and political system like Capitalism or Feudalism. First thing you will notice is it is supposed to be a really, really big historical stage that emerges, some say in a violent revolution driven by a political conflict or struggle of economic classes, from the previous stage. And then you will also notice the other stages were not thought up by anyone as a whole - they were just made up of millions of people working out how best to run their affairs on a daily basis over hundreds of generations. Also notice how you are not supposed to see Communism in this way; neither its detractors nor its advocates want you to see it as it really is for reasons that ought to be pretty obvious. However, if you are genuinely interested I would point you to a go-to source on this like Leszek Kołakowski’s Main Currents of Marxism.
