West Ham vs Nott'm Forest | League | 2.11.24 | Predictions & Lineup
So what do we think this week. Didn't think much of Forest until I looked into their team and they look to have some pretty talented players and setup in a way that could well be Lopetegui's kryptonite! Pacey wingers, sit deep, hit on the counter...all things that have fucked us repeatedly this season.
Plus Chris Wood on form who always gets one against us.
Anyway, gonna stay optimistic and predict a 1-0 to us, but at this point would be happy with a draw.
Team I'd pick:
GK Fabianski
RB Wan Bissaka
RCB Todibo
LCB Kilman
LB Emerson
RCM Soucek
CDMRodriguez
LCM Alvarez
RF Bowen
CF Paqueta or Ings or Antonio
LW Summerville
I'd be tempted to play Paqueta at CF...he's no worse than Antonio at keeping the ball, Antonio won't out-muscle Milenkovic, and he'd be more likely to play in the wide players (plus with the three that finished in midfield against Man Utd, we lack someone that can pass).
What say the rest of you?

3-4-3. He doesn't want to give up any space in that Midfield. Better hope the back door ain't left wide open if squeezing the middle of the pitch is the idea. He certainly ain't afraid to change things up game to game..

Re: West Ham vs Nott'm Forest | League | 2.11.24 | Predictions & Lineup
10th game & another formation & another new line up
Hmmm
Perhaps Loppy throws all the magnets at a board & goes with that
Lets see how this one gets on
All the doubtful Forest players fit though Anderson on the bench

Re: West Ham vs Nott'm Forest | League | 2.11.24 | Predictions & Lineup
Keep up with what?
You want him dropped so the team can get used to being without him.
If, as you say, he's been shit for a year, that indicates you think he's good by the team's standards even when he's been "absolutely wank" by his own.
Or maybe basic logic is not part of the team you're on.
Let us know which it is in your own time son.

You’re really trying too hard Brenty.
No, mainly because he's been absolutely wank for a year now as well. Keep.up...

In my professional opinion this will be a 1 nil VICTORY for West Ham.

We flashed for periods in the second half last week. I’ll be looking for an improvement this week in our performance and style of play. A win is needed for confidence as well as the fans. Otherwise J Lo will be under more scrutiny.
hoping for a 2-1 late winner. Probably ends 1-1

Definitely get him out the starting line-up now so we can get used to him not being available by then. We don't need the added distraction for both him or us...

I'm not against that either, I think we've seem that Ings has more to his game than just being a 'goal hanger', but I suspect Antonio will start.

Re: West Ham vs Nott'm Forest | League | 2.11.24 | Predictions & Lineup
Anyway - My team would be:
Summerville Antonio Bowen
Paqueta
Soucek Alvarez
Emerson Kilman Todibo AWB
Instructions are without ball Paqueta drops in between Paqueta and Alvarez to make a 3 and Summerville and Bowen drop in to make a bank of 5 midfielders and 4 defenders. Bowen and Summerville have engines and pace to get up and support Antonio when we break. Soucek then to join Paqueta on the break and Alvarez sits.

Yeah, he has looked shit hot in training. Paqueta I dont want in the team, and not sure Soler deserves a chance. So lets see what he has got.
Or play Bowen 10 and play the whizzkid RW

I wouldn't mind giving Ings a go up front also, as it goes.
Laughable, really. But that's the situation we're in (the same one as last season, and the season before).

Re: West Ham vs Nott'm Forest | League | 2.11.24 | Predictions & Lineup
Eh? You'd select the completely untried 18 year old right winger who has featured once as an 85th minute sub, Guilherme, as a 10? Good grief
Re: West Ham vs Nott'm Forest | League | 2.11.24 | Predictions & Lineup
If he was half the player you lads speak of then there would be no discussion if he was in the team or not. Rodriguez gets cunted off on here and Paqueta has lately so surely Soucek is an absolute guarantee to start???? No.... and theres a reason for that.
Anyway enough of clogging up this thread, lets hope if he plays tomorrow he is much improved and helps us along to 3 points

"A bit of fight" ... *smirk*

By the way, both his goals this season came way of outfield.
