Perhaps we should acknowledge that Forest are 3rd in the table and as they say the table doesn't lie. Everton are below us and so far we have been getting results against teams below us. It's a 6 pointer though!

We were wishing to arrest the decline we were in under Moyes which had actually started in warly 2022. The conf cup win and a run of almost freak results at the start of 2023 was masking it for many who were not fans watching every game.

But it really does look like we ( Sullivan ) picked the wrong bloke. He and Steiden didnt put in place the squad / team to fully support his approach. The fact that we dont even look like we are trying ( lack of running / pressing ) is the coach’s fault.

I do think we will lose or draw with Everton. Draw could be the worst thing if “must win” is really “must not lose” .

We were told to be careful what we wished for! Our talent scout isn’t as good at spotting talent as everybody thought!

We might see Irving's first start in what is almost a must win game.

If someone suggested in the summer that we'd be seeing Irving starting in a must win game against Everton, with either Antonio or Ings up front, then they would have been laughed off this board.

Not sure what he has to do to be dropped now though.  He's been a complete waste of space this season and should be benched immediately.

He's had far too long to prove himself and any hope that he might rekindle any of his form from 2 years ago is long gone.

It's not even that he's not playing well, he's become a liability.
Ironically the doughnut's managed to suspiciously get himself suspended having picked up his 5th booking already for the season! 😂

Classic West Ham fair and well deserved time out for our Brazilian Betting magnifico...

*Actually double checked it to be sure as heard someone mention it straight after the game on Saturday and it appears he does have 5 yellow bookings already but as 1 was in the League Cup, it doesn't mean he's suspended just yet which is a shame. He still needs one more booking to get his automatic 1 match ban.

Not just Milenkovic. We all laughed at their scattergun recruitment when they first came up,  but they were better all over the pitch than us and with a significantly stronger bench.

Murillo and Milenkovic for half a Kilman..lol

Just got around to watching MotD. Hadn't noticed before but have a look at how Moreno ran unchecked off the back of a lazy Paqueta? Or Todibo's contribution to their third (and that's without factoring in his foul for the free kick leading to the second)?

Milenkovic looked decent, I thought.  How many times were we linked to him?

Cost £12m.  Compare that to what we spent on our defence.  It's a shame he wasn't a Salthouse client.

Feel sorry for the fans that travelled. What a waste of a saturday putting in that much effort and expense to get nothing back in return.

Another abject display, we sounded horrific. Alvarez so stupid, what has happened to him this season?

Too many players have gone backwards under this manager........he hasn't improved one player.

The next manager needs to put more emphasis/trust in the youngsters.  Ghillurme and Orford can no be worse than whats being served up each week at the moment.

I'm fucking sick to death of football nowadays.

I think VAR was the last straw for me.

I'll still watch West Ham if it's on telly but I just can't really be arsed with it anymore.

Haven’t got a three-penny’s worth to give after that. We finished the game with pretty much the same XI as started that nightmare first half last week, and that was supposed to be in response to Alvarez’s red.

I’m actually beginning to think this cսnt worse than Grant.

That second yellow yesterday must be one of the moronic things I've ever seen in a game, totally unforgiveable. Most of you cunts would be hanging Soucek out to dry if he did it instead of one of your little favourites in this gormless yellow card machine.

As disgraceful as the first half was I was looking forward to seeing how the second half went after changes and maybe a repeat of last week, now we'll never know.

Well beaten by a better side, they are well organised and have some good players so no surprise we struggled even before the sending off.

2 mins of "highlights" from yesterday's game.
(we only have 1 highlight, a Fabianski save).

Talented squad though. Very sad situation. I really enjoyed being in Europe and now we seem to be heading back to pre-Moyes nonsense.
That's the short and sweet of it. Three years in Europe, top seven finishes and a cup win is going to do down as one of the best periods in the clubs history, and it's going to be a while before we see that again. The old West Ham is back unfortunately.

Just got home from the match. Utter dross even before the sending off.

Credit to forest fans, they were funny before going one up and a great loud atmosphere afterwards in a cracking old ground.

They looked very well coached and set up without having clearly superior individual players.

After ten matches I see no progress. We look similar to how we ended up under moves ie no obvious plan or style of play.

Fact of the matter is the main bollock Lotepegui dropped today is playing Paqueta, our main playmaker as a false 9. This is something Moyes tried as well and everyone hates it.

He’s just going through the motions now in my opinion.

Today I saw one of the most talented playmakers in the League being used as a false 9.

This might have worked as long as Alvarez was around to win the ball and supply him but it was a very high risk strategy that blew up in Lotepegui’s face. His reaction demonstrated he’s not up for the job.

No, of course you didn't.
