We (The fans) have to act now
Well here we are, the morning after and this fool is still employed. This is unacceptable after the performance and result yesterday. Worst still there's no noise from the usual puppets that any action to remove the fraud will be completed today, again unacceptable.
We're 14 games in and a mess in every department, it simply cannot continue another moment.
if Sullivan dosen't want to do anything he needs to be motivated to.
if nothing has changed by Monday night a repeat of March 10th 2018 has to be the price.

Re: We (The fans) have to act now
The right thing to do is back the manager, anyone with half an ounce of common sense would agree.
I am backing the manager.
I’d sooner be 10th and loving the football than 6th and bored.
Why do you get so irate about this, anyway? Do you have a personal connection with the Mr. Moyes?

I was responding to Ganks retarded comment where he thinks you would fire a coach that has you sitting 6 th in the league on 30 points and has just brought you a European trophy. It’s that level of retardation that I’m talking about. There is no way you would do that, It’s too stupid a comment to take seriously.

Why wouldn’t I say McTominay isn’t playing well? When have I ever said he’s not a decent player?
Moyes was backed more than any other manager in the clubs history, conversely the more he spent the worse his team got.

perhaps the only reason we could get Phillips is because we could get him on loan because Sullivan wouldn’t buy.
I hear McTominay is having a decent season in Napoli Goose. I’m sure you are aware seeing as you’re a fan. Or won’t you dare admit that on here?
Dare admit I’m a Napoli fan? You mean apart from the second team thread where I said Napoli??
McTominay wasn’t available in January. The club has FFP constraints to work within so there wasn’t money available in January, Sullivan never likes the January market anyway.
Nobody is doubting the success Moyes delivered in season 1 & 2, but all of season 3 and half of season 4 weren’t good enough. That’s why he didn’t get a new deal. You can point fingers wherever you like but the results just weren’t good enough.
Imagine the zero pride you must have to be pining for that horrible cսnt

Moyes was backed with about £400m, exactly how much more backing do you think he needed?
I didn’t enjoy watching shit teams like Fulham & Palace carve us open last season - not much has changed.

Even the bloke we ended up with wouldn’t have wanted McTominay, McGuire and Phillips and he’s not looking like any sort of expert at the moment.
Launches out the door Fornals and Scamacca for the likes of Phillips and Hugill.
Re: We (The fans) have to act now
gank,
No, the obvious choice was to buy new players In Jan (and yes I’d take Mctominay over any of the shit we have in the middle right now) with a focus on qualifying for Europe. You slag off Moyes signings yet we were playing in Europe not sure what was so awful about that. Do Moyes was obviously doing something right with the squad. At least you are now admitting that you just wanted Moyes out, careful the penny may drop at any moment and you might finally realize that you are dead wrong, although I doubt it, you seem to enjoy watching shit teams carve up our defense, to you that’s exciting to watch.
Not sure why you are so stuck on blaming everything on Moyes yet only now you are starting to blame Sullivan.
excuse me for thinking you’re a little bit slow.
We should have backed our manager, we were 6th in the league and a few new faces were needed, the one thing practically all of us agreed on.

Re: We (The fans) have to act now
I understand that Nyc but that ageing group had been so good before xmas so why strengthen was perhaps the thinking and wasnt it Moyes said that he liked to work with a small squad? And the scale of the collapse after xmas was thought by some to show that we had been extremely fortunate before xmas? And that spell before xmas came after a very poor league campaign the season before when we finished 14th
Moyes game plan of low block had become far less effective and he didnt seem to have an alternative from early 2022 is my recollection
Moyes did well for us overall but like so many managers seemed to run out of ideas in the league in the last 2 seasons.
He would likely be better than Loppy though Id agree with that but its a low bar and a moot point because he would wanted a different set of players recruited and likely doubled down on his tactics. It was simply that his Moyesball, low block tactics were acceotable while we were flying high for 18 - 20 months in the league but once the results slipped and we started then shupping goals for fun ( as we still are admittedly) it was time to move on.
But the moving on bit has been a bit of a disaster unfortunately. Will take another window or two and different coach to see progress.

They completely sabotaged the season, yet Nutrot still defends him. And if he didn't know, then it's another reason he had to go. Still in europe and two great squad members allowed to leave early, it still makes zero sense other than to flush the season down the toilet
Re: We (The fans) have to act now
It was flogging the same 11 players in the league and Euro Fixtures relentlessly which eventually told on an ageing squad. Not reinforcing in the Jan window was reckless and didnt help (although as others have sad we were waiting for the summer to spend that money)

I rest my case at the level of fuckwittery by you lot, now although I don’t blame you at trying to distance yourself from your truth, it’s fucking embarassing how badly you have been exposed.
There were plenty, myself included, that wanted a change well before that. If you take it as a given that we’re not finishing in the top two then we only really want to be entertained and have a go at a decent finishing position.
We’ve won a European trophy every 20 years (admittedly it is always the worst one) and silverware is a great accolade if you can’t win the league but the fact that Lopetegui has neither improved nor worsened our fortunes doesn’t make it a wrong decision to make a change - at the very least, it’s a better match to watch these days, we’re no worse and the fact remains that nobody wanted this particular man to relive Moyes but I’m still glad we made that change even for him.
Given that results are exactly the same but it’s a bit more exciting seeing us lose under this guy than seeing us lose under the last guy, I have no idea why you get so upset about this.

Not distancing myself from anything, the football was fucking depressing. Why hasn't your hero been hired by another club? If he's that fucking good, clubs should have been queuing up to employ the anti football cսnt

When exactly did Sullivan ‘give us what we wanted’?
Most of us wanted Moyes sacked and he kept refusing to do it, so we had to endure the painful football for a long time after we had grown sick of it.
I don’t think a single person ever said they had Lopetegui top of their list when Moyes’ contract finally ran out, yet we all had our first choice managers in mind. Mine was Amorim.
Sullivan picked the only name in the public running who literally nobody said they wanted.
So whilst you delight in telling us it’s our fault, my response is that no it isn’t, you have your own agenda and at no point has Sullivan given us what we wanted.

We ain't one of the 3 worst teams in the league. Ludicrous talk . Saying that we wasn't in 2003 either. The problem then was a chairman refusing to dismiss a manager hopelessly out his depth . Roeder wasn't strong enough. Lopetegui keeps on fighting his players. Common theme the worst chairman in the league.
