This is tough to read and very sad to hear. Sorry if posted elsewhere but he deserves his song to be sung even louder and more often today.

Admired the bloke as a player. A class act in the face of adversity. Wish him nothing but the best in this horrible situation.

Gutted to hear this.

I remember when he left his coaching role at club it was all a bit cloak and daggers and he was never given the send off he deserved, so I guess this is probably the reason why.

Puts all the football nonsense into perspective with the Oscar Fairs tribute & now Ludo’s news
A genuine legend & it’s desperate for him & his family
Completely understand his decision to knock the chemo on the head & have as good as a life as he can before the end.
Life is a real cսnt sometimes isn’t it?

I feel so sad for him

One of my all time favourites - Him and Ian Bishop would've been even better if they had been part of a much more talented team.

Ludo was top quality! A worthy successor to Phil Parkes maybe better on occasions - he could certainly spring up a little further than old Phil probably equal at shot stopping.

Love Ludo (obvs).

Brave decision and one I think I would make if I was in his position.

I’m sure he will get a great reception today with many renditions of ‘Big boy…’

Just hope that the boys on the pitch give him something to feel happy about and I’ve got a feeling they will!
