Re: Jonathan David - Lille
Abraham would unironically be a good signing for us.
Like a more athletic (black) Fullkrug.

The problem is our Warwick Davis comandante...
WRONG AGENTS, THE LOT OF THEM.
That's obviously what's the most important thing in recruiting new players. Can my mates get a cut of the fees?

Re: Jonathan David - Lille
Life, mostly.
But on topic.
Not sure what all has been said but...
David has become one of my favourite players for obvious reasons.
His best quality is his finishing, including penalties, though he had one saved this weekend. He had finished 9 or so in row, having last missed in February last year.
One of the best I have seen recently at sniffing out chance and getting to the ball first.
He is quick and smart rather than out and out fast.
He is very good on the press and passes well in transition.
He has become smarter about going down with contact and better at using his body for ball control.
He is not huge and not an obvious outlet for long balls but has improved in his hold up play, recently.
He has been in the centre of a front 3 for his last few years at Lille. Still probably best in the Premier League with another striker, in my view - which is how he played a lot in Belgium, his first season or so at Lille, and with the national team.
Would probably work better under our current manager than the previous 2.
He will work hard for you, finish the vast majority of chance you give him and is getting really good at link up play.
Should add he has said he wants to play in the Premier League at some point but grew up supporting Barcelona.

Re: Jonathan David - Lille
He's one of these players that we seem to be constantly linked with, and instead we end up getting someone expensive on the way down in their career on a huge contract instead, and he'll end up joining someone else and start banging them in.
