Empty Seats

Post Ladysmith »

Last night I look looked around and for a London Derby, I couldn't believe how many empty seats there were.

So we stop looking like a complete embarrassment, should we start offering kids for a quid seats?

It seemed to me that a fair few headed home early despite the 3-2 'thriller' that was unfolding on the pitch.
Mind you, it was a cold night...and I was sat on my sofa watching at home.

And so will most others I suspect.  Only empty seats are season ticket holders not attending.  The worst thing about it is the lack of effort put into that stadium. As shit as it is . Could you imagine how bad the proposed £95M redevelopment would have been.
I hope that’s true and that there are a few thousand protesting until the little cսnt leaves.

scott_d wrote: 16 Jan 2025, 14:17 It might technically be a London derby but it's about as much of a derby as West Ham v Bournemouth or Brighton etc.

It's just West Ham vs another mid-table average Premier League team.

That’s exactly it. Millwall, Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs are London derbies. The rest happen to be clubs that exist in the capital but are of no relevance.

I enjoy the usual Spursy stuff, but Arsenal being just as Spursy is a lot more enjoyable. The most detestable cunts in London.

Other London clubs don't have this issue.

There wasn't that many empty seats around us but a lot in other areas.

Palace on Saturday I paid £35 for a ticket Billy Bonds upper row 40.again resale

I guess there is an element of dynamic pricing about it too as I ended up paying £85 for the Liverpool game in the Trevor Brooking lower which was pretty fking stupid to be honest but I had been drinking.

I suspect the actual season ticket holder gets nothing like what I pay for those tickets but the exchange enables me to get to practically any game I want at short notice without even having to be a member.

The downside is it also enables the day trippers and rogue
fans of other clubs to attend.

What he's saying is that STHs won't list if they only got a quid so, because so many seats are pre-sold, you cant do kids for a quid. However they often don't sell at the current high prices. Thats the problem. There ain't no way of squaring that circle

Mt guess is the majority of empty seats were from ST holders like myself who didn't go and didn't sell the ticket on the exchange.
