I'm reckon the wife carked it naturally, and gene, being 95 maybe a bit doolally couldn't summon help. You can come to your own conclusions how the 2 dogs managed with no Winalot.
Hard to believe they didn't have a maid or gardener come into them.

Not an expert on CO poisioning but seems strange the bodies were found in I assume not in close proximity as people don't usually have the kitchen near the bathroom and I doubt he has a small gaff. If he died first maybe she went to bathroom for meds and die there. But if she was still concious why no 911 call ?

Was thinking the same thing now. He forgot to install CO2 detectors. Thats what killed that Argie footballer and the pilot. Well indirecty as I guess the crash in the sea did for them although hopefullyn they were both unconscious on impact.

CO2 is Carbon Dioxide so don't go installing them!
Indeed my mistake it's CO not CO2. A bit like C2H5OH and CH3OH. One is great fun ( in moderation) the other will kill you.

Same. The fact it's both of them and the dog as well indicates it surely was some sort of accident. Very sad.
Sheriff's report say that Hackman's other two dogs are alive and in good health. One found inside the house, one outside. The report also said, the deceased, had been dead for some time.
A great filmography for Hackman. My two personal favourites are his small role in A Bridge Too Far and the excellent BAT 21.

so very sad, one of my favourite actors and excelled at drama or comedy. The Birdcage stands out and the likes of The Firm, Crimson Tide and Unforgiven. I'd say one of his best performances was in the superb Mississippi Burning. RIP.
