AWB switches to Congo
Awful news for us.
He’ll be travelling half way around the world now at international breaks and potentially we’ll be without him for the two bob African Cup.

Wears the wrong colour shirt now. If he’d just had the season for them he did for us, he’d be in an England squad.

Re: AWB switches to Congo
Not as good a full back as Trippier or defender as TAA?
Obviously knows he was never getting picked for England so you can’t blame him for taking the opportunity of international football with a World Cup next year

Re: AWB switches to Congo
I know you're not allowed to say that the AFCON is a load of old shit, so I won't, but why the fuck is it every 2 years? Is the World Cup every 4 years and the absolutely superbly brilliant AFCON every 4 years not enough? Not only is it idiotic, it also devalues it. If it was every 4 years, maybe everyone else would take it seriously as a tournament.

Re: AWB switches to Congo
DRC got to the semis last time as well, so they aren't bad. Although two years is a long time in African football.
I'll be at the Final again though
