Just get everyone out of harms way, close the door and wait 10 minutes until he's fallen asleep. Does seem to me that alot of coppers get themselves in a pickle because they simply cannot accept that in certain situations there authority doesn't give them an immediate resolution.
In this case it would seem a tactical retreat would've been most sensible.
I wouldn't allow either in my brick... every battalion had liabilities.. but these two would get bods killed in the field.

Re: Coppers cleared of assault after tasering a 92yo with 1 leg
From the Coppers who got off with manslaughter after tasering, hitting and pepperspraying a wheelchair bound invalid with dementia to this Copper getting the sack after apprehending a genuine knife carrying lad on his toes in the street by straddling his back without injury once it fell out his pocket...
Two Tier Policing - It's only acceptable if it's against certain individuals.
What did Deputy Chief Constable Rachel Farrell think she was witnessing, George Floyd MK II, the dopey mare??

2). If Donald was black or brown these two brave officers would currently be in the shovel on suicide watch
1) Yes they are unfortunately
Those that are being recruited now often lack the physical and mental capabilities to do the job
Tasers are the go too tool when things might get a bit hairy or someone won't come quietly.
Twenty or thirty years ago a lot of the old bill were ex services those with a sense of public duty (busy bodies ) or blokes who liked to have a bit of a tear up and not get nicked for it.
Nowadays it's all about quotas and PC bollocks
Running towards danger isn't allowed if no risk assessment is undertaken and back up not available.
The senior copper who refused to get out of his motor during the Westminster terror attack whilst his colleagues were being attacked id a prime example.
I know a couple of ex coppers (25 year service) and they despair of the state of what they see coming through now.
No physical height requirements or apparent fitness tests and lapse uniform codes.
Most crime detection now is about cell site and CCTV evidence so not much thinking required anymore
Fast tracking into sergeants roles with no practical coppering for graduates or those unrepresented pissed of the existing old bill who had put the hard yards in I'm told.
The management is hugely political and for the most part a practical and PR disaster.
When'ever s major incident happens iit always seems to be woman chief super or commissioner reading out the statement n a condescending way and warning us not to make assumptions blah blah
All things considered it's no surprise that public confidence in them is at an all time low.
I was also told of an incident involving the fire brigade where a newly recruited station officer refused to allow his team to enter a small lake to save a drowning man as no risk assessment had been done.
Those that entered anyway and saved the man's life were hauled over the coals for disobeying orders and required to undertake further decision making and risk assessment training
That's about the state of things in the UK emergency services at the moment.
2) Correct

Re: Coppers cleared of assault after tasering a 92yo with 1 leg
There was a similar story in Australia 2 years ago:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_of_ ... prov=sfla1
I remember the senior policeman doing the press interview having to contain his anger while alluding to the stupidity of the officer involved.
I have some sympathy for the carers who think they are doing the right thing by calling the experts to defuse the situation and end up feeling guilty because a Dirty Harry wannabe turns up.

Everything else in my post was true.
The only sick and twisted posted is the one who went to Cambodia and abused disabled girls.
Thats you joyo son. You keep on deflecting but everyone knows what you did.

90% of the posts on here are two middle aged men arguing over who likes ladyboys more. One of whom openly bragged about what he did to a girl in Cambodia.
I’m sure there’s plenty of ladyboys for both of you.

Fifth Column" wrote: ↑31 May 2025, 08:08 Mike idk about those in SE Asia but UK Ministry of Justice stats show that "transwoman" are massively more likely to be sex offenders per capita than the general population. Of course that doesn't mean the majority are. But your comments sound like you're saying they're no greater risk than the general population and that's incorrect. Perhaps thats not what you meant though.
"Trans" is probably one of those terms that doesn't translate with meaning from Western to (SE) Asian nations.
Khotoeys/Ladyboys have already gone through that "trans" stage and in the countries I've lived/worked in seem to be fully accepted; they're not simply restricted to bars in the red light districts (as much as those led by the Daily Mail wish you to believe) and many hold down "normal" responsible jobs in society.
Can't say I've even noticed toilet/changing room use when out and about in shopping centres and the like, and also in many of the non-girly bars that vastly outnumber those in the red-light areas, where the latrine usage seems to be, let me put it this way, a matter of personal choice, where nobody bats an eyelid at a straight girl in the gents. or a straight man in the ladies. bogs.
I've not (yet) met a (SE) Asian man who makes disparaging comments on khotoeys; most/all of that comes from ignorant paranoid foreigners. It seems to work in general with the acceptance that "different from me" comes in very many colours on the spectrum.

Gank is 100% correct. They couldn't have left him. If they'd left and he'd harmed himself they'd have been blamed for thst. People get tasered to stop them harming themselves fairly regularly. It's less dangerous for the member of public than a baton or being taken to the floor.
I just read the details of the case and it's not as simple as people on here are saying. I suspect the two officers will get sacked after going through misconduct process now criminal trial Has finished.
