WHUFC New Kits

Post stubbo-admin »

Newsflash...it's not Kappa....but in my opinion they look shite.

Anyway, supposedly these are very very close to what the actual kits look like.
Mock up kits are accurate.jpeg
Hate the claret socks. Looks like a Burnley kit.

The home is absolutely dreadful and the away is a brilliant idea completely botched - but I really like this one.
Huge hammers are different and very uniquely 'us' - and third shirts are for giving licence to do something different to normal. The sublimated hammers are great too. And the shorts are a really complimentary colour to the shirt which has the right flashes. One of our better overall kits in recent years, I think.

As I said, the home and away were completely driven by the Club but I believe the third was Umbro's design. Which is why it's better.

I like everything else about it, why would you do that?
The way I look at it is we often ask for something different and unique to be done with kits, especially with 3rd kits. When at other times we also prefer for more traditional looking West Ham shirts which last seasons Home kit nailed. For me this 3rd kit ticks all the right boxes as it's definitely unique, unusual, stylish, easily West Ham recognisable with quirky details. It is out there and full on but I actually like that about it. 😎

never to be seen because they never existed.
Bit like your sense of humour and the Eyetie army in WW2
sense of humour? i've got a joke for you:

joyo's underage cambodian 'girlfriend' dumped him, so joyo nicked her wheelchair.................. guess who came crawling back??
Well technically, I'm guessing her? 👩‍🦽🤷‍♂️

Mad Ferret" wrote: 31 Jul 2025, 11:23 Funny you mention Kappa as all 3 of the never-to-be-seen Kappa kits had the oversized crossed hammers rather than the badge. Such a shame those kits will never be released.

But yeah, the visual identity is definitely shifting away from the London badge, thank god.

Mad Ferret" wrote: 31 Jul 2025, 09:07 I'm told that the idea of the big hammers is to get people used to seeing/associating them with West Ham.

The plan is to use them more on our kits as we transition away from the current badge.
are those the same voices in your head that were saying Kappa?

The kit is lovely but it’s not the hammers that bug me it’s that fucking big green badge on the sleeve! I’d buy that top but without any of the logos
I purchased an unsponsored one but it seems there's not any on display now?
