I remember being curious about all the George Davis is innocent graffiti in Archway / Holloway when I used to visit my nan as a kid.
That was in the late 70s and early 80s but can't remember the PISS one.

Apparently there was a large Facebook group devoted to that graffiti. Lots of followers who were very attached to it, largely I think as a landmark signifying that they were nearly home. Many were really gutted when it went.
Unfortunately for me it was on the wrong side of the bridge, meaning when I saw it I would still have 90%+ of the trip to go, and be closer to the start of the day than the end of it.
