From Anfield to Upton Park, Brisbane Road to the “Maracanã of Fife” — meet the Blue Brazil Essex Branch (BBEB): A group of Essex based lads who’ve swapped the Premier League for pies, passion, and pure grassroots magic at Central Park. They’ve travelled 428 miles through wind, rain (and probably sideways rain), for the love of a club that just gets what football is all about — community, laughter, dreams, hopes and belonging. This is a story, a true story, about real football. About real fans who’ve made Cowdenbeath their home away from home. As well as a few local mentions that we think you will recognise... Its also about rain, scarves, dogs with season tickets, curries, pre-match pint's, and maybe a post-match pint (or two) at Wee Jimmies. 🍺 ⚽ Read their incredible story — from Essex to Fife (and back again twice) — and discover why the Blue Brazil spirit travels further than you think 👇 👉 Read it at https://bit.ly/4oxAxgg  Best viewed on desktop (yes we are working on a new website) #TheMiners #CowdenbeathFC #BeMoreCowden #GrassrootsFootball #BBEB #BlueBrazilEssexBranch

This afternoon has not gone down well.

Lets put the Frangelico on ice though.

Top half of the table looks a realistic proposition this season, and I don’t think any of us would be saying that 12 months ago. Even the most optimistic amongst us.

I've parked outside the stadium a few times when I was working for Amazon during lockdown.

No games on at the time, obviously.

Supped ale in a few if the local pubs.

WEE JIMMIES is the best.

Away to Caledonian Braves, 7th versus 8th.

Mouth watering fixture, where 3 points could cement a place in the top half of the table for at least two or three weeks.

PB, I think a couple of posters living up that way who used to post on this thread have.
